For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media.

I urge, then, first of all,
that requests, prayers, intercession,
and thanksgiving be made
for everyone:
for kings and all those in authority
that we may live peaceful and quiet lives
in all godliness and holiness.

Heavenly Father –

You are our Creator and we live in Your universe.

As the Creator, You divide Light from Darkness as well divide Good from Evil. And You are Lord, and we have no Savior but You.

We confess we’ve lost sight of You, made our own gods, have lost our way, and live like You do not exist, making our own rules.

And rightly, we deserve this condemnation:

The result is living in dark days. And as we’ve sown the wind, we’re reaping the whirlwind.

We confess our apathy, lukewarmness, lack of spiritual discernment and action as evil has taken root and spread:

Grant us a heart of repentance and send revival and healing in our land.

Fill us with the Spirit. Equip us to fight.

This coming election day, and until You come for us, may we be suited up for battle:

In the end, all things will be made right. And as we fight for the soul of our nation through the power of the Spirt, may we have confidence that You have already given us the victory.
