I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 2 Thessalonians 2

Lord it seems as if the many nations have drunk from the cup of your wrath, driven to escalating war because of rebellion and turning their back on You. They have been blinded to the obvious and clear thinking by their vanity and pride.

Many are fearful of the future and given up hope because of such a corruption in government. Lord we turn to you even though we may fear it is hopeless. Give us wisdom to live and pray, strengthen our faith Lord. Give us spiritual insight for this battle which belongs to you.

Lord we pray for honesty during the election, that the citizens be not deceived by the campaign commercials and the news media. Protect President Trump from the wickedness of those public officials trying to destroy him.
