On May 1, on Russian TV, the media executive often called "Putin's mouthpiece" urged the Russian president to launch a Poseidon underwater drone with a "warhead of up to 100 megatons." The detonation, said Dmitry Kiselyov, would create a 1,640-foot tidal wave that would "plunge Britain to the depths of the ocean." The wave would reach halfway up England's tallest peak, Scafell Pike.
"This tidal wave is also a carrier of extremely high doses of radiation," Kiselyov pointed out. "Surging over Britain, it will turn whatever is left of them into radioactive desert, unusable for anything. How do you like this prospect?"
"A single launch, Boris, and there is no England anymore," said Kiselyov, addressing the British prime minister.
The threat followed one on April 28 made by Aleksey Zhuravlyov, chairman of Russia's pro-Kremlin Rodina Party. On the "60 Minutes" program carried on Channel One, Russian TV, he urged Putin to nuke Britain with a Sarmat, the world's largest and heaviest missile.
The program noted that a missile launched from Russia's Kaliningrad enclave would take 106 seconds to hit Berlin, 200 seconds to reach Paris, and 202 seconds to obliterate London.
The NATO designation of the Sarmat is "Satan II."

Must be the Russian counter equivalent to MSNBC. There are no 100 MT nuclear warheads. There no sea-launched drones. There would be no 1,700 ft tidal wave, even if one detonated a hypothetical 100 MT warhead. This is just typical of the rantings for ratings of most “news” channels.

He kept it hidden, but when he realized how weak the USA had become, how the Americans had allowed the highly intelligent, honest, and puissant President Donald Trump to be thrown out of office, probably by a stolen election, and to be replaced by a weak, stupid figurehead whose puppet strings are controlled by an anti-American cartel, in fact a fifth column for America's enemies--Putin pealed off his mask and revealed the monster previously hidden by it.
There are many monsters in the world--some in positions of power. They are assessing the situation right now. When they judge the time to be right, they'll make their move. Putin was just the first.

The Russian Tsar Bomba was never a practical weapon but the design of which allowed reaching a power of 100 Mt TE. The October 1961 test of a 50-Mt bomb was, among other things, a test of the performance of the product designed for 100 Mt. They made a few of them, but they were never tested at full capacity as there was no practical use for them. Bigger is not always better than amount. Plus the cost to develope such huge weapons is asking a lot of a budget without a real need. If 58 meg is not enough, which was 3800 times more powerful than the Hiroshima device, then we are talking about a world event here as the fallout alone in good winds will kill millions. Overkill and even the Russians knew it. It was a good show but that’s all it was. Cold war manure.
