While Pope Francis has traveled 10 times to Latin America since his election, “he is clearly not leading a crusade to reclaim the region for Catholicism,” WSJ reported.

At his core, Francis could not care less about the religious preferences of Latin Americans or anyone else. Let’s just say he is no St. Paul.

If Francis sees his mission as destroying the Catholic Church, he’s doing a pretty good job.

This Pope gets his theology from Marx and the Huffington Post.

Its difficult to find a serious ideological difference between him and most leftist politicians.

He is truly a disaster.

Frankie is the Marxist “democrats’” Merrick Garland of the Catholic Church. The far left ‘media’ got the boy his Vatican job.

The Pope is doing the Great Purge. Losing most of his faithful.

He is trying to rewrite history and in the end, he will fail.

God is in control!

I miss Pope John Paul II and Mother Theresa.

At one time or another most Latin Americans have lived with autocratic governments and they can see through Bergoglio a mile away. What he is doing to the Catholic Church is criminal.

He has lost many Catholics to the Church, thanks to his embracing of marxism.

The closing that got cut off is good.

“Far too many in our Church haven’t been opting for the poor, preferring instead the pet social causes of wealthy Western elites. Pentecostals may lack substance, but at least they’re talking to the poor about Jesus and not climate change. https://t.co/rcb50tAvvi

Why are South Americans leaving the RC church in spite of all the culo-kissing?

Two reasons:

1. Clearly, Jorge doesn’t seem to care about loss of card-carrying church membership. That’s because he truly doesn’t care. His mission is to push buttons for the Great Reset, which is behind schedule since Hilldog lost in 2016. Now we have a Catholic president in the USA and the pandemic is ongoing, so things are back on track!
2. He and his globalist masters take South American Leftists at their word (or don’t care) when they say they’re catholic and it’s clear they’re not. This is what a lot of Americans in general do: Assume that any hispanic is Catholic. Big mistake, as we will soon see.

But in either case, no one in the RC hierarchy cares anymore. They know the LatinX globalist masters aren’t religious; they’re not even christians - they is communists! (That means they is atheists!)

Hint to WSJ. the Catholic Church is not a democracy nor a republic.

It has and will continue to withstand terrible leadership even the worst ever such as this one

People can discern that there is even in the hierarchy and remain Catholic.

The article claims the Catholic Church “opted for the poor” in its embrace of Liberation Theology. No. It “opted” for the Marxists.

That's odd. People usually become interested when their homeboy achieves something.

When Benedict became pope, many Germans renewed their interest in Catholicism.

Francis being pope should have increased interest in Catholicism among Latin Americans.

I remember when Bobby Fisher beat Russia's Boris Spasky at chess in the 1970s. It had been a long time since an American won the World Chess championship. As a result, chess fever swept America. Chess set sales soared. Magazines articles appeared about chess.

According to a 2014 Pew survey, “the most popular reason given by former Catholics in Latin America for embracing some form of Protestantism was to have a more personal connection with God, cited by 81% of respondents,” WSJ reported. “Nearly six in 10 said they left Catholicism because they found ‘a church that helps members more.’”

On occasion I have practiced the “ministry of dumb questions.” It is very educational and entertaining but in some ways discouraging.

One of the questions is “why are you here (in church) this morning.”
