If you dig in deeper into the accounts of abductees, they will tell you the absolute terror they felt in the presence of these “aliens”.
A few will even say that they mentioned the Name Jesus, and the attacks and abductions stopped immediately.

Well, their one sensible purpose, knowing what we know about space, would be to focus on defense applications, but since we are bound by UN treaties not to do that, NASA is essentially an agency without a purpose, so of course they have to try and invent one to justify their funding.

Well, the innocent explanation would be that “Lucifer” is one of the few astronomical terms mentioned in the Bible. Besides being a moniker applied to Satan, it was also a name used for the planet Venus. Seems a bit far-fetched to think the Vatican wouldn’t realize how it would appear to the public though.
