Well, the innocent explanation would be that “Lucifer” is one of the few astronomical terms mentioned in the Bible. Besides being a moniker applied to Satan, it was also a name used for the planet Venus. Seems a bit far-fetched to think the Vatican wouldn’t realize how it would appear to the public though.
Every week/month I usually have some sort of post to Talk about the RCC in Scripture. The Bible exposes what God thinks about the Babylonian church. According to the Bible, there are 2 religions, Babylon and Israel. There is Spiritual Israel and everyone else. Adoption into Jacob is the only way to have an inheritance in the Promised Land. A Gentile can be adopted just as Joseph's children were adopted in Gen 48. Manasseh and Ephraim were adopted through the cross of Jacob's hands. Denominations are just "Traditions of Men". If a woman in Scripture is a religion or denomination, then a daughter is just a break off of Babylon or the RCC. There are Hellish horrors in the basement of the Vatican. Most of the practices of the RCC are specifically forbidden in Scripture.
IMO, They could meet with the Antichrist in a spaceship and declare "this is the one we have been waiting for", and a billion Catholics would bow and worship another image in their collection of statues and portraits.I'm still waiting for more information, but I'm inclined to believe these beings will be demons and descendants from the Nephilim.
If God loves His people, enough even to sacrifice Jesus on the cross, doesn't it make sense that He would tell us info we would need to know about anything else in His Creation? He did tell us about Demons and the Antichrist. There is nothing new under the Sun. If something exits a spacecraft, it's probably evil.
