I am not attacking Mormons by posting this (and another article) - I know some Mormons, I love them, they are wonderful people and we do share most of the same values, but we definitely do not have the same beliefs.
I did not get a good vide after watching 5 minutes. Now I found this out. Not surprised.
Romans 10:13
For every one who calls on the name of Christ WILL be saved!
Im not a Mormon but it seem pretty clear to me, I could not find an except for? anywhere.

Well said. My thoughts and sentiments are the same.
While our beliefs certainly do differ, there is a lot to be admired about the Mormons’ resilience in the face of our “modern” (read “decadent”) culture. Perhaps we remnant Christians could have a look and learn a thing or two from how they have managed that.
Ugh...why does satan need to twist EVERYTHING i hope is good in this world?
“No one is good except God alone” (Mark 10:18b)....such a perfect illustration to Christ’s words.
Hmmm, I did not know this was a mormon thing. I was gonna do some homework on the project before viewing it but, I don’t consider it such a priority any more.
The deity of Christ is central to christianity. It is why Jesus was put to death in the first place.
I used to have a close friend who was raised a Mormon. Rich aunt and uncle important in the local church. Big tithers.
She told me when the world ends or whatever they call it the ones who believe the Mormons are right, not born Mormons but baptize in…they would be their slaves. As for Mormons themselves they will become gods. Everyone else will die.
All these nice looking young kids always come to my door and want me to get involved in LSD, I always tell them I was at woodstock before they were born.
but then eventually they start talking about magic underwear, I think I maybe got confused and ask them to come back another time
That's true of NON-Evangelicals, too. Reminds me of the media's talking point when Mitt Romney was running for POTUS:
Media: Evangelicals don't see Mormons as Christian!
Me: Ummm, I hate to break the news to you, but neither does any other Christian denomination.
this posting is pure bunk.
Then you are really missing out. It is a beautiful production about the life of Jesus Christ and his followers.
Dallas Jenkins, Christian producer of "The Chosen," has stated that he doesn't agree with the Mormons on many things but that he is willing to work with them. Why wouldn't he? He works with Muslims, Hindus, and even atheists.
Jenkins mentioned that in the beginning, he had no idea how he would get funding for his production or how he could afford to build a movie set.
Some Mormons generously offered to let him use their ready-made set, and "the Chosen" got off to a great start.
The Lord works in mysterious ways. If He chooses to work through people who happen to be Mormon to answer Jenkins's prayers, why shouldn't Jenkins accept the offer?
While you're at it, senior pastor, stay away from any Christian-themed art produced by people whose beliefs don't match 100% with yours.
Don't look! This was made by a heretic, if not outright atheist: The Last Supper
A gay man made this: The Pieta
And don't read the Bible, it contains the words of Satan! (Matthew 4). Talk about infiltrating holy texts.
Christ himself dined with publicans and sinners. He communed with Jews, pagans, and prostitutes. I'm sure he would approve of your piety.
I shall continue to watch "the Chosen" religiously. Won't be attending any of the "good pastor's" sermons though. They're too pure for me.
Fortunately, Dallas Jenkins doesn't have to do that.
Someone else has already "died on a hill" for us all (Christians, Jews, Buddhists, even Mormons).
Perhaps, the least we can do as Christians is invite all to come unto Him, regardless of their present circumstances.
If they choose to reject Him, that is on them. Nonetheless, I don't think Christ would write people off so easily. The thief on the cross next to him accepted Jesus in his final moments.
Who's to say that other "non-Christians" won't at some point "see the light" and join us?--actually that should be "join Him."
The Mormon church founder, Joseph Smith, Jr., was fond of the occult, divining and fortune telling with “peep stones.” The basis of Mormonism was a historic record of Christ’s time after his resurrection in South America. This record was given on golden plates found by Smith 1400 years later. Who really wrote this account? Where are those original plates? No one knows.
But Smith’s lifestyle revealed him to be a man who did what he wants, picking up 27 wives as he went along. His character led him to be arrested and while in jail, an angry mob crashed into Smith’s jail cell where he and his brother, Hyrum, were murdered.
Smith’s martyrdom elevated him among his followers. However that did not stop a split in the congregation. Even though both groups were true to the Book of Mormon, one group rejected the secret rites, the plurality of gods, and sealed marriages. It was this group, led by Brigham Young, who followed him to Salt Lake Valley, Utah with his 25 wives. It was Young who said, “The only men who became gods are those who enter into polygamy.” The beliefs of the Young cult were bizarre and had no semblance to the Christian Bible. It was in keeping with Joseph Smith, Jr., to do whatever you want and call it following what you can make up as God’s word.
Mormonism is a cult.
Religion is the glue that holds people together for Generations. Nation's like the Soviet Union and Communist China are doomed to collapse without some kind of spirituality. America itself is fading because the faith it once had is fading as well. We handed our Children over to the State to be educated and are now shocked it's turning them into little statists. Biggest mistake Americans have ever made.
If you know your Bible well, you are in no danger of believing false things - just enjoy the "show".
People believe all kinds of things, and that is on them.
I know what I believe is true - doesn't matter what Dallas Jenkins thinks.
EVL!!! Evangalist Lives Matter!!!
If in your opinion only EVL matter to God ... than maybe you should add an ‘I’ between the V and the L.
I personally refuse to Hi-Jack God’s Judgement about who is acceptable to him or not. I think in doing so ... you encourage God’s wrath.
Mathew 7: (1) Judge not, that ye be not judged. (2)2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. (3) And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? .... (5) Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.
This sounds like something a Pharisee would say. Complaining about Jesus associating with “unclean” people
The Chosen has relocated to Texas.
My God is better than your god ping.
