There’s not a reason in the world that any passage of Scripture cannot have both a physical and a spiritual interpretation connected with it.
The spiritual world is far more real than the one we are inhabiting and it’s obvious from Scripture that there’s overlap between the two.
I absolutely think that the decisions and actions we make here on earth have ramifications in the spiritual realm, and that there are things going on in the spiritual realm, that, while we cannot perceive it with our physical 5 senses, play out in the physical realm. One only has to look at the amount of time Jesus spent giving people physical healing by addressing the spiritual causes (demonic activity).
Then there’s the king of Tyre mentioned in Isaiah, where in the physical realm, it was addressing an actual physical man here on earth, but also had the spiritual end of it addressing Satan.
And Satan himself can appear as an angel of light.
I don’t think for a minute that Revelation can so easily be written off as allegorical or spiritual. There’s way too much specific description of physical events happening here on earth to ignore a more literal interpretation.

Especially if he were to have a sudden, miraculous recovery from his dementia. Doesn't Revelation (or maybe Daniel) talk of a 10-headed beast, and one of the heads seeming to be mortally wounded, but coming back to life?
BiteOne is awful now, but he's gravely weak, both mentally and physically. Imagine what evil he could accomplish if he suddenly recovered all his faculties.
Interesting possibility. The Establishment Media would (very predictably) change gears from ‘nothing is wrong with Joe’, to ‘LOOK at his amazing recovery!’

I have known for forty years that the Greek word for “Sorcery” is “φαρμακεια”. But, back in the 70’s and 80’s we Bible Believers interpreted that as the use of intoxicationg and illegal drugs. It made sense at the time.
Now, however, we see something else going on. Drug abusers never referred to their stash as a “Pharmacy”, nor were illegal drugs referred to as “Pharmaceuticals”. (Maybe as a joke perhaps, but never as a real definition.)
Now, however, we have “Big Pharma” trying to control our lives, blanketing our airwaves with commercials for Prescription Pharmaceuticals, changing the time-honored definition of “Vaccinations” (a term derived from the word for “cow” as the Vaccinations for Smallpox were originally developed using the less virulent Cowpox), and we are being forced to go to “Pharmacies” for our alleged vaccinations.
Doctors are being bullied and coerced, losing their licenses, and denied hospital privileges if they defy Big Pharma. Elections are being rigged, Sports and Entertainment Stars are being marginalized (Aaron Rogers, Eric Clapton, Van Morisson, etc) all because of Big Pharma.
It is turning out that “φαρμακεια” really is a form of SORCERY!
Of course, I am not advocating the use of illegal and intoxicating drugs, but it seems that those are not the only candidate for the term “φαρμακεια”.
Usually when a Hebrew or Greek word can be translated various ways, there’s at least one translation that will use each variety. However, I can’t imagine any translator using “pharmacy”, “pharmacist”, “pharmaceutical business.” But now it all makes sense, and it’d be hard to imagine the word not be at least footnoted.
And it will probably still be Muslims killing saints if we look at the prediction of the Mahdi that some Muslims hold to. If you are not familiar with it, it kinda is like someone took the cast of personages in Revelation and swapped them around.
So the Mahdi would be the Antichrist and the person claiming to be Jesus (but who didn’t appear as Revelation describes Christ returning, obviously) and making people to follow the Mahdi is the False Prophet.
I’ve also occasionally pointed out that the already in place Islamic doctrine of abrogation will allow this potential tyrant to remove a major obstacle to the apostate and Christ hating West to flock to the mosques to take whatever mark may be asked of them by declaring a homosexual friendly, or maybe even homosexual mandatory, form of Islam.
OH, I agree with you, that many passages have that “dual interpretation”; Peter even did it in Acts 2 with his “This is that” claim.
I think we’re actually on the same page.
Where I was trying to point is there are events described literally, that may manifest as spiritual realities, not physical. Doesn’t mean they CAN’T, but... I’m frankly not expecting a literal guy on a literal white horse, or Death on a pale horse with Hades shambling along behind... THAT kind of thing is what I was addressing, and how we shepherd people through when it looks like it’s supposed to be a literal thing you should be able to see, and you don’t see anything.
There will be those moments, and we want to ensure we don’t lose anyone to the 2 Thess. 2:10 Effect, but help everyone hold their opinions in open hands, be ever loving and embracing Truth as God does it all His way, and keep an unoffended heart toward Him.

I understand your hesitancy about a ‘rapture’. As presented by many Preachers, that the Church will be gone, with little or no suffering, as compared to the Believers in the early church, I believe that is not correct.
That said, I DO expect the Church to go through PLENTY of suffering BEFORE He returns. Presently, I see a ‘sifting’ of the Church. My former church, a ‘Bible-based’ church, has caved to the rules of the Province, and has NOT stood by, or supported ANY of the Alberta churches persecuted by the government. It has seen church attendance drop greatly. Meanwhile, those persecuted churches, have seen attendance increase, sometimes doubling. I expect the persecution to continue and increase, and the ‘great falling away’ to continue. This is perhaps, tied to the Jesus’ parable of ‘the sower’ in Matthew 13. I believe that Believers WILL suffer a great deal of persecution until He comes.

This is how I see the shot in regards to the Mark of the Beast....
The shot is a medical procedure. Nothing in scripture references such nor even close to that. And lets remember the Mark of the Beast is without question a mark of loyalty and worship.
Plus there’s been other times in history where ‘marks’ were used....the Holocaust specifically. Slavery. and even the Roman Gladiators were marked. Prisoners were marked with initials denoting their crimes etc.etc.
Actually the anti-christ comes out of a European nation.....Europes pretty much forgotten God overall already so they’re ripe for deception.
Interesting thought is after the rapture many muslim countries will hardly notice unless seeing their TVS or I Phones.....very few will be missing from their countries....but here in the US Millions will be gone..and more than likely this nation will be done. Certainly economically.
