Pope: World Migrants' Day, welcoming without prejudice and without fear

Pope Francis marked the World day for Migrants and Refugees, at the Angelus in St Peter's Square with several thousand people including many migrants groups and associations.

"Don't close the doors to hope". "The Holy Spirit does not want closures; he wants openness, welcoming communities where there is room for everyone". "Every closure, in fact, keeps at a distance those who do not think like us. This - we know - is the root of so many great evils in history: of the absolutism that has often generated dictatorships and so much violence towards those who are different".

Vatican City (AsiaNews) - "Let us not close the doors to the hope" of migrants and refugees, welcoming them "without prejudice and without fear". "The Holy Spirit does not want closures; he wants openness, welcoming communities where there is room for everyone".

Pope Francis marked the World day for Migrants and Refugees, at the Angelus in St Peter's Square with several thousand people including many migrants groups and associations.

Welcoming those who are forced to leave their homeland is a constant theme of this pontificat and the subject of today's reflections. The Holy Father spoke of the title of this years World Day 'Towards an ever greater us'.

Says the guy living in a walled off city. Open the gates to Vatican City, then we’ll talk (oh, and I’m Catholic).

Well looky there - another made-up BS holiday to advance the globalist agenda.

And imposter Pope Bergoglio is playing along. Nice.

Nope.

No more.

Not until there are no more foreign language TV and radio stations. None.

Today’s gospel is from Mark chapter 9. Jesus says, “Anyone who is not against us is for us.”

Francis forgets that there are people who are against Christ and His church.

Jesus also tells us to love our enemies, but He tells us to love our neighbors as ourselves. We love ourselves and our families with care and prudence. So should we love our neighbors. Jesus tells us who our neighbors are also.

There is a difference between neighbor and enemy; distinguishing between them is prudent and prudence is a virtue.

And then there are all those unfortunates who are not enemies. Why can we not help them in their homelands?

I did a little calculation awhile back. Based on its size, Vatican City can easily accept - and house - 2000 immigrants. Did the pope happen to mention anything like that in his talk?

Well I won’t be celebrating anything to do with migrants nor illegals nor refugees whatever they call themselves! Nothing there to celebrate.

Ike knew what to do. He rounded up all wetbacks and sent them back to Mexico. I never saw Mex here until Bush JR. He let the Mex drive trucks all over. Add all the Muslims the Bush family let here. We have no assimilation requirements. The morals have gone to he—. SAD.
