Lord God,
We rest in You and wait patiently for You. We do not fret because of those who seem to be prospering right now. We do not fear the people who are bringing their wicked schemes to pass. Your Word says they shall be cut off; but those who wait upon You shall inherit the earth and shall delight in the abundance of Your peace.
And so we wait and we trust in You alone, for we remember the Name of the Lord our God. Our eyes are lifted up to You. We wait for Your Spirit to call us into action. We wait for Your peace to cause us to rest in You. You are our strength in these days of darkness. You will help us and deliver us. You will save us because we have placed our trust in You.
Father, in obedience we pray for our enemies---those who hate You, those who hate America, those who despise freedom, those who love darkness, those who hate life, and those who dislike having any higher authority to whom they must answer. In Your mercy, please call them to the foot of the Cross and expose the lies of the evil one that have poisoned their hearts. We know it is not Your will that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. Lord, please send Your people to share Your truth with them, and help us all to be ready to answer those who wonder about our hope in You.
God of compassion, please turn the darkness to light in our nation, the despair into hope, the hatred into love, the sorrow into joy, the strife into peace, the ugliness into kindness, the harshness into gentleness, the evil into goodness, the selfishness into generosity, and the bitterness into forgiveness.. By the power and authority of the Name of Jesus Christ, help us to take back that which the devil has stolen from this nation. Help us to repent, Lord. Help us to honor You once again. Help us to be willing to stand strong in Your truth; for You love justice, Lord, and You do not forsake Your people.
Thank You, Father, for by faith we receive Your answers that shall surely come. In the Name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

FATHER, we pray these difficult times will at last
end with Justice for all who have suffered.
Not only those in this nation, but those experiencing the
same iron fist around the world. The men who presume to
remove You deserve nothing less than complete annihilation:
loss of fortune, loss of free will, loss of free living.

Dearest Lord, we pray that more hearts will be softened, that they will come into Your Kingdom. For the dread of man is no match to the wrath of God.
