[Catholic Caucus] The Pachamama as a monstrance: Guadalajara, Mexico
If I had read in a dystopian novel about the Neo-Church that instead of a monstrance they would use a pagan image, I would have thought, 'This author is exaggerating! Who would ever think of or do such a thing?'
July 1, 2021 (Stilum Curiae) – Dear friends and enemies of Stilum Curiae, it is really true that truth is stranger than fiction. If I had read in a dystopian novel about the Neo-Church that instead of a monstrance they would use a pagan image, I would have thought, “This author is exaggerating! Who would ever think of or do such a thing?”
But in fact it has happened and is still happening in Guadalajara, Mexico, in the parish of San Juan de Macias, run by a Spanish priest, Juan Pedro Oriol, who as far as they tell me is very powerful, and to whom Cardinal Robles cannot say no to about anything.
Thus the Pachamama-Monstance was used for the first time at a youth meeting, and dominates the high altar, under the crucifix.
I would say that in these times there is nothing we haven’t seen, no?

I have a friend who worships Pachama as a goddess. She is from Venezuela and is very new-age spiritually.
Putting Pachamama on the altar is definitely against the First Commandment and anybody who says it is merely symbolic of the earth or whatever is hopelessly naive.

That priest is on Facebook. I sent him a message in my crummy Spanish telling him to get Pachamama off the altar, that it is not a benign symbol but is in fact a pagan goddess. I also sent a message to my archbishop telling him to urge his brother bishop to stop this.
I am not going to be silent. Souls are on the line.

"2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

How awful. Almost unthinkably awful.

Thank you. I will do so too.
About 5 years ago I was traveling in Mexico for a conference on liturgical music and met a great, faithful priest from Guadalajara. The poor man, having this going on in his diocese.

Pachamama’s place below the Crucifix is temporary. She will be equal next.

( comment might be sarcasm, or not. It depends. Often I'm not sure either.)

Sounds far fetched, and yet not really. Lord have mercy!

But in fact it has happened and is still happening in Guadalajara, Mexico This cannot be a coincidence...Guadalajara, with the most prominent Mexican apostolate of the FSSP that just hosted an international Summorum Pontificum conference and hosted a very rare (for Mexico) traditional ordination.
The battle lines are being drawn.

BREAKING: Vatican to Ban Latin Mass ONLY-ISM - FSSP, SSPX, ICKSP will be loyalty tested by Rome over. This is an urgent podcast. The new plan to suppress Latin Mass parishes and communities is being developed and rolled out. It is a ban on what I am calling TLMO: "Traditional Latin Mass only-ism". Priests will be required to say both "Ordinary Form and Extraordinary Form" or suffer canonical difficulties. This has huge consequences for FSSP, SSPX, and ICKSP and other TLM societies and institutes. Join me live.

The SSPX will have no trouble with this. They’ve already placed themselves at arm’s length from the Vatican on any of these things — for the sole purpose of protecting themselves from apostates in the hierarchy of the Catholic Church.

If the figurine represents the Blessed Virgin it would be acceptable although I have never seen a monstrance in that shape. I think of Sodom and Gomorrah and I shudder to think how our morality would compare with that of the two biblical cities. It is truly nightmarish to think what punishment could await us. Lord have mercy.

Insidious. Diabolical.
What does this loyalty test consist of? Concelebration? Is the Dijon crisis telegraphing the playbook?

More than that if you watch the entire video. It could even affect the traditional seminaries and their formation of priests.

Thank you for posting that video of the Mexican priest burning the Pachamamas and praying for mercy.
I’m proud of that man and his congregation.
