Only 6% of Americans have a "biblical worldview," according to research from notable evangelical pollster George Barna released as part of a new endeavor with the Christian conservative advocacy organization Family Research Council.
In a statement Wednesday, FRC announced that Barna, who founded the influential evangelical polling organization Barna Group, joined the organization as a senior fellow of their newly launched Center for Biblical Worldview.
FRC President Tony Perkins said that the center is "designed to give Christians a firm foundation so that they can engage the culture by being rooted in God’s Word."
“Every Christian can and should obtain a biblical worldview — which is only achieved when a person believes that the Bible is true, authoritative, and then taught how it is applicable to every area of life, which enables them to live out those beliefs," Perkins stressed in a statement.

When people think “Just as I am” means I’m not changing works....
That sounds about right. I live in a deep red county and a poll from 2 years ago stated that only 13% of the county population attend church, and the term “church” was used very loosely. Unitarians, JWs, and Mormons would make the cut.
If anyone wants to get on the fast track to a biblical worldview, I suggest the church locator at 9Marks.org. It only lists churches that are serious about the 9 biblical characteristics of a healthy church.

We as believers can and should modify our behavior, with Jesus as our example but the nature is stuck until.....
More than that and grace becomes earned, and earned favor is not possible, other than by Christ.

So 6% fit this denominations definition of biblical? If a different denomination held the survey they would get a different result.
If you answer yes to any of them the survey slots you in as having an unbiblical world view.
For question A, faith alone is the clear Protestant position, but my understanding is the Catholic view on good works would allow them to say yes to this.

Yes. I initially thought that’s Karma. But it’s not. Karma involves being reincarnated.
The Bible says one reaps what one sows. So perhaps it is supposed to be a Biblical worldview.

That was a wise move. At best, such people are deceived. At worst, they actively deceive others.

Whoever wrote those statements is a poor communicator.
The three phases of salvation / deliverance from sin are Justification, Sanctification, and Glorification. ONLY God can do the first aqnd the last, but he calls us to get to work in the Sanctification phase, because there is no failure in that phase that can undo what God did in the Justiciation phase.

Well the vast majority say no to all of them according to the poll. A is the highest “yes” but it’s the most ambiguous.
So how is 6% determined?
I don’t trust Barna Research...don’t trust their definitions of crucial words nor their questions. That said, I don’t believe many Americans are biblically literate beyond grade school level.
A lot of them have been taught that the LAW doesn't apply anymore. So like you say, they do as they please. That's just one of the many easy way out teachings that will snare them.
I'd like to know the answer to that also.
Since the RCC does not teach reincarnation, which would not be a Christian teaching anyway, is this the quote from the article that you are referring to?

These are the only two ideas expressly referenced by that article.
Digging into the links I found this definition of a Biblical worldview...
“For the purposes of the research, a biblical worldview was defined as believing that absolute moral truths exist; that such truth is defined by the Bible; and firm belief in six specific religious views. Those views were that Jesus Christ lived a sinless life; God is the all-powerful and all-knowing Creator of the universe and He stills rules it today; salvation is a gift from God and cannot be earned; Satan is real; a Christian has a responsibility to share their faith in Christ with other people; and the Bible is accurate in all of its teachings.”
Is part of this what you were referring to even though it was not spelled out in the article (as it probably should have been) as the Biblical worldview referenced?
Please note, I’m not RCC, I’m just wandering how you got to your statement. If it reflects how you received the statement or statements beyond their simple meaning or some aspect of how you understand RCC teachings.
I would suggest that only 6% of “Christians” have a biblical worldview.
People may get fat and self-satisfied and unbuckle their belt ... speaking figuratively.
