May 21 2022 was supposed to be the day the Rapture occurred, according to radio evangelical Harold Camping. He staked his entire reputation on it. his company, Family Radio, spent more than $5,000,000 on 5,000 billboards announcing the date, and a media frenzy soon followed.

We're all still around.
And we can say with certainty that nothing even remotely close to that prediction happened that day.
Within months, Camping announced his retirement. Months after that he formally admitted he was wrong. in 2013, Camping died. And in 2018, Family Radio stopped airing his old sermons.

While O don’t know the date or time, the lamp oil is running out.
The time is near.
And it has been near for 2,000 years
If you really know your Bible then you know the time of the rapture is never. The Bible does not support this end of time lie of satan.
I know people who have given the date multiple times. Like a dog returning to its vomit, they can’t help but predict the end.
But we havent got to that date yet...May 21, 2022
Thats net year...
Camping’s still in the game!
Then you evidently don’t know your Bible, because the Rapture of the Church is a solid doctrine of the true Church and the Bible alludes to it in many locations.
May 2022 still hasn’t arrived. I think someone ought to change the typo.
Guessing as to when the End Times will be is futile. I trust in the Lord's providence more than my ability, or that of the late Harold Camping or others, to guess the date.
Tt’s the same old story....fear sells. It sells a lot of books and separates scared people from their money. Sad but despicable.
Camping originally set 1994, as the return of Christ. It was 1993. I was driving my car, when I heard him say Jesus would return in 1994. I was so shocked, I almost drove my car into the ditch.
I never was much for making fun of people, but Harold Campimg was so crazy and spoke so strangely, that to my whole extended family, “It says here in the book of Jeremiiiiah” is used as a verbal meme for an insane non sequitur.
For the most part I hold date setting in contempt. However, I felt bad for Harold Camping because I believe his heart was in the right place.

Y'all forgot the Herbiechurch one!
In a deep, slurring, slow voice:
“It says here in Psalm 18:124, ‘This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad.’ And what is happening today? It says here in the Book of Jeremiiiiiah, ‘So I will cast you out, and your mother who bore you, into another country where you were not born; and there you shall die.’”
Matthew 24:30-31 is a portion of Jesus’ teaching about his return. In this passage he says that all the peoples of the earth will see him coming in the clouds. And that with a trumpet call, he will send his angels to gather his elect from throughout the earth.
This is happening now, but most people don’t understand it as they don’t understand His teachings and how to tune our consciousness to His channel. Jesus is already here. We exist within Him.
I put the blame on the folks close to him. Once someone exhibits strong signs of senile dementia, they should be protected from themselves. By that point, Camping was, to put it mildly, bonkers.
