Researchers are injecting human stem cells into monkey embryos and even scientists are disturbed by the ethical implications. For the Biblically minded, the implications are clear.
MIXING MONKEY AND HUMAN CELLS
Researchers in California published their results in The Cell on Thursday describing how they successfully "created" embryos that were a mixture of monkey and human cells. The abstract, titled "Chimeric contribution of human extended pluripotent stem cells to monkey embryos ex vivo", explains that the study was focused on creating cells that could be used to produce organs for people who need transplants.
Chimerism is a condition whereby an organism or person has not one but two complete genomes or sets of DNA in their body. The condition is named for the chimera, a fire-breathing creature in Greek mythology usually depicted as a lion, with the head of a goat protruding from its back, and a tail that might end with a snake's head.
The researchers injected 25 cells known as induced pluripotent stem cells from humans -- commonly called iPS cells -- into each of 132 macaque monkey blastocytes, an early structure in embryonic development in mammals, and reared the resulting chimeras in culture dishes for up to 20 days. After 13 days, the human cells were still present in about one-third of the chimeras.

Maranatha!
Pretty much.
Growing a human organ in monkeys with the hope of transplanting them into humans could be a disaster. The viruses and bacteria that live in monkeys are much more likely to adapt to infect humans that those of a sheep or pig.
Just do what the ChiComs do, herd up undesirables, make them manufacture sneakers for Nike, and harvest the organs of the least productive and the troublemakers.
Sure could explain some of the creatures that run loose on the earth during the Tribulation.
The interspecies research that’s going on is certainly concerning, but...Nephilm?
Stop.
The Nephilim were human-angelic mixes, and God intervened to put an end to it before then entire human genome was tainted. Something genetic must have survived in one of Noah’s descendants, because we see Goliath and his kin in the Old Testament, but there’s not fresh intermingling going on that would produce more Nephilim, so the use of that term is a revolting capitulation to sensationalism that casts aspersion on the source.
I seriously wish Christians would walk more closely to The Word and not be sucked into this genre of headlining. There’s credibility to be had in the pain sort of language inherent in simply letting one’s “yes” be “yes,” and one’s “no” be “no.”
It’s like they are going down an ordered list of things that traditionally provoke God’s wrath, including low probability things like this as well as the “fun” stuff like sodomy.
Nephalim, apemen, or pigmen?
but there’s not fresh intermingling going on that would produce more Nephilim,
= = =
I note that there is indiscriminate mingling going on out there, and I note also that pro football and pro basketball may have some of the produce.
The government’s been experimenting with Pig Men since the ‘50’s!

Man-bear-pig at least.
I agree, with all that, but the fallen angels almost succeeded in corrupting the human genome. The Flood, I think, was specifically brought on, to kill off the Nephilim, but might have also killed off the horrible mutations, that resulted from all the genetic engineering (trans humanism) that was going on. Did half man half goats actually exist. I don’t know. Maybe.
What I wonder is, did fallen angels really lust after human women, or did they simply know that the unholy union, would corrupt the human genome, or maybe both? I don’t think Jesus could have been born from a Nephilim woman.
“I don’t think Jesus could have been born from a Nephilim woman.”
Right you are, bro. God preserved a line through Noah then Shem, of course. As someone else has pointed out already, something ugly got on that big boat. Assumption leads to Ham’s line.
Possibly. I mean, wasn’t Nimrod Ham’s son? Aren’t most false religions, at least loosely based on the false religion of Nimrod? I think the religion of Nimrod, was widespread at the time of Jesus. I wonder who did Nimrod in?
He was the grandson of Ham? Having to stretch my memory a long way on this, Mark. There’s also something to do with the name, “Nimrod.” If memory serves, there’s a connection in the Hebrew of Nimrod and “the mighty ones,” el gibhorim (sp?) who took on human flesh and mated with women. Nimrod was a “mighty hunter before the Lord,” that is, hunter of men’s souls, IIRC. Like I said, I’m having to go back a long ways, so don’t quote me on any of this. Sorry!
After another pot of coffee, I may be able to make some sense of it.
There are good videos out there about those uglys (Nephilim) and the days of Noah. by Chuck Missler, Michael Hiser, Allen Nolan, Trey Smith, to name a few. What did Jesus say at the Olivet discourse? Take heed that no man deceive you. Satan is heavy into deception.
This has been done before. How else do you explain the Democrats in Congress.
