The new policy on extreme survivalism counsels “against extreme or excessive preparation for possible catastrophic events. … Efforts to prepare should be motivated by faith, not fear. hmmm...wonder if this was created in reference to Glenn Beck?

Extreme survivalism may be the only option left. There won’t be enough functional social cohesion remaining to provide for things like COVID-19 Wuhan virus vaccines, or much medical help at all.
The skills of 1880 may be of greater value than all the fine digital libraries and shining factories that exist today.
Given the opportunity, herds of horses breed up fairly quickly, and that may be the principal motive power available. “Horse sense” is not available to everybody.

That’s a very general statement and is likely true. If it’s trying to smoke out anti-vaxxers, it’s pretty lame.

Many Mormon anti-vaxxers in rural Utah. They are likely very irritated at the church’s incursion into matters of State.

As I recall, Abraham, Lot, Jeremiah and lots of other Jews in the Bible had to resort to extreme survivalism.

Actually, while Henson wasn't a practicing Christian Scientist when he died, and by one account he'd written his Chirch to say he was out, many believe that upbringing informed his ultimately fatal refrain from seeking medical attention.
He was 53 when he died. That was probably one of the greatest losses in the arts and entertainment world.
And, as you know, Alice did the Muppet Show.
