On Monday, the Vatican reaffirmed that the Catholic Church cannot bless same-sex unions after its own clergy sought clarification on the matter. The decree distinguished between the welcoming and blessing of gay people, which is still the case, but not their unions, as any such recognition could be confused with the sacrament of matrimony. That of marriage between one man and one woman, God’s supposed plan for procreation purposes.

The explanation approved by Pope Francis went on to state that while gay people must be treated with dignity and respect, gay sex is “intrinsically disordered.” It is a sin. And God is not in the business of blessing sins.

... after this week, I am certain that I no longer have a home in the Roman Catholic Church. And that I must finally move on.

...I may have unwittingly started my migration away months ago, dropping in on Episcopal services in an old schoolhouse where many in the congregation are ex-Catholics, including the priest. They have already accepted what I am finally coming to realize. That there are other communities willing to fully embrace my brand of sinner.

Jesus did not offer Himself a sacrifice for our sins so that we could continue to sin with impunity. That was not His purpose.

True Christians, while understanding we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, also fully understand that one must repent of your sin, ask God for forgiveness, and attempt to “sin no more”.

Homosexuals want their proclivity and actions to no longer be called “sin”.

The church welcomes all sinners, but those who insist on continuing to sin and those who try to convince the church that their acts are not sinful are in direct opposition to the Word of God and are to be cast out.

If all sin is equal, how would you react to a thief who wants to be a part of the church, who brags about his theft, and who tries to convince the church that theft is not a sin?

Catholics read and hear the Scriptures and understand it better than most Protestants. For your information the Mass and the Sacraments follow the Scriptures.

With so many protestant versions, there appears be many false teachers in the protestant religions.

I do read the Bible and can show you, if you listen that protestant beliefs are not Biblical.

Perhaps you should read Acts 1:12-26 The eleven chose Matthias. Also Timothy 2:2 and 1:14

I did not sling any mud, but I question protestant beliefs that are not God’s Truth. Yes the Catholic Church has many sinners including priests, as Jesus spent time with sinners to teach them His Truth and Good News and to lead them to eternal life. Priests are not infallible; only the Pope in agreement with the Bishops on faith and morals.

I hope that your pride will allow you to say the Catholic version was correct?

I am curious whether you were a Catholic or always a protestant. Why do you believe the untruths about the Catholic faith?

I have. There is a difference between a replacement and a succession. In the Age of the Apostles where these men in such close proximity of the Messiah, did such miracles on an almost everyday occurrence. They were infused with the Spirit that none of your Popes manifest. These men traveled globally and faced fierce encounters and led many men to salvation through their words and deeds. How many people did Pope Frankie lead to Christ in 2020? Can he travel alone and go to foreign lands on foot and and get the same response the Disciples did?

If by body and blood you mean his Words and the belief in His sacrifice, yes. If you mean a daily ritual done repetitively to maintain salvation, no. That's works. The ceremonial laws were abolished on Calvary. Let's not replace them others such as "say three Hail Marys", daily novenas (Matt. 6:7) or a daily mass with wafer and wine.
If a person is to do anything it is to change their life to show the world that God has changed them to good for others. To follow the Golden Rule.

Your attempt to misdirect at Pope Francis actually proves the point of Apostolic Succession.

You are entitled to your false beliefs, but not historical facts contained in the Scriptures.

I hope that sometime in the future, Jesus finds you worthy to receive His Body and Blood in the Sacrament of the Eucharist.
