There are people today, including myself, that wonder why we’re still here. After all, Jesus, Paul, James, John, Peter and other prophets gave us signs to look for, and every one of them, except for the Rapture and the appearance of the antichrist, are here right now. (all emphasis mine)
The Ezekiel coalition has been formed for the first time in history, and God has made sure that Russia, Iran and Turkey are in desperate need of resources to survive. Then, there sits tiny Israel with all those natural gas and oil reserves, and they appear ripe for the picking. The “big three,” and some lesser nations that will join them, are having the “hook” set, just as God said it would be. Ezekiel 38:4; “And I will put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen; all of them clothed in full armor; a great host; all of them with buckler and shield, wielding swords.”
This will be the attack on Israel by what would appear to be overwhelming forces that, under normal circumstances, would be able to wipe Israel out in no time at all. However, the Heavenly Father has other plans, and when the dust settles, it will be obvious that He, not Israel, defeated the masses that attacked them. Ezekiel 39 describes the destruction, and at the end of the conflict, all Israel will know that the Lord God Jehovah protected them. The tribulation will still take place, and before it’s over, the Jews will be severely persecuted. However, the surviving remnant will enter the Millennial reign under the guidance of Jesus Himself.
Sadly, even with Jesus on the throne at Jerusalem, there will still be those who will turn away from Him during that 1,000 years. The final conflict will take place at the end, and Jesus will put it down with just a word from His mouth.
Matthew 24:43-44 and Luke 12:39-40 say that if the homeowner knew what day and hour the thief was coming, he would have been ready at that time. Jesus went on to say that we need to be ready for the “Son of Man” to come at an hour we do not expect. Human nature being as it is, if we knew for certain the moment that we would die or the moment the Rapture was to take place, many would wait right up to the last hour to call out to be saved. This is why it’s obvious that Jesus said we must be ready; right now.
No one knows for certain when they will take their last breath here. God provided many examples in His word about people who were unprepared. He also gives us the formula to follow so that we are constantly ready to leave here and be with Jesus. More about this further on.
Through Satan’s influence, false prophets are twisting God’s word to fulfill his evil plan to pull as many away from the Savior as possible. Saying that there’s plenty of time, or that we all worship the same god, or it really isn’t necessary to have Jesus in our lives are some of his most popular lies. How about, there’s really no such thing as hell, and even so, a loving God would not send anyone there. Before the creation of this earth, Lucifer went against the Father because of destructive self-pride and even had about 1/3 of the angels follow him (Revelation 12:4).
Today, there are more people that follow Satan than follow Jesus, which doesn’t surprise the Lord at all (Matthew 7:13-14). For Satan and his angels, or demons, there is no pathway to forgiveness. Jesus’ sacrifice was for all humans, as Satan and his demons had already been in the presence of the Lord God. They had witnessed His majesty and glory yet turned against Him anyway (Isaiah 14:12-14; Ezekiel 28:13-19; Revelation 12:7-9; Jude 1:6; and others). Hell was prepared specifically for Satan and his fallen angels, as stated in Matthew 25:41.
Having worked in several hospitals and then a number of years in law enforcement, I witnessed the deaths of hundreds of people of all ages and under a variety of circumstances. Some had terminal illnesses, yet even then, they weren’t sure exactly when they would die. More than a majority were people who started out a day not realizing it would be their last one here. If they could, they would most likely tell you they believed they had more time.
God knows the exact moment each of us will depart from this planet. As stated, He gave us ample signs of what would be happening at the end of this age. To prepare us, He has given us a great outline that would help us to be ready.
First and foremost, He knows we are all sinners, yet He loves us anyway (Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; John 3:16-18). He sent a part of Himself, Jesus, to be the perfect sacrifice that would be able to cover our sins. There is no way possible that any other human could provide a pathway to the Father that would be acceptable.
Jesus is the only way, as stated in John 14:6, Acts 4:12, and Romans 5:8. We can do no works nor pay any price for our Salvation, as it’s provided by the Grace of our Savior and through the Mercy of our Father (Ephesians 2:8-9).
For the formula mentioned earlier, we have the ABCs of Salvation given in Romans 10:9-13.
A – Admit we’re all sinners and cannot save ourselves.
B – Believe and have faith that Jesus’ gift at Calvary was made for all who will receive and accept Him as their Savior. He died for us and was raised by God to conquer sin and death for us once and for all.
C – Confess we’re sinners, and call out to Him and ask for forgiveness and to save us.
Verse 13 says, “All who call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” That’s an absolute promise from our Heavenly Father.
He also says in numerous places that all who reject His Son will end up in the Lake of Fire after attending the White Throne Judgment of Revelation 20:11-15. Those that will already be in hell are the antichrist and false prophet (Revelation 19:20); then, 1,000 years later, Satan will join them (Revelation 20:10). There will be no pardons given; no forgiveness available for all who are at the Great White Throne. That judgment is final, and the sentence of hell is forever. And, no, God will not have sent anyone there other than Satan and the demons. It will be a choice that was made by every soul that will be in that long line.
God would rather have all to repent and seek forgiveness from Jesus and spend eternity in Heaven (2 Peter 3:9). He will force no one, as that wouldn’t be true love. All who go through the Judgments of Jesus will receive or lose rewards for what they did while here, yet their outcome will still be forever with the Savior, in their forever Home prepared by Him (John 14:1-3).
And now, a plea from one who has witnessed so many souls depart from their earthly bodies. Please, don’t wait another minute without Jesus in your life. Call out to Him and ask His forgiveness and to save you right now. An hour from now could be too late. He’s waiting and will accept all who put their faith and trust in Him.
The event of 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 and 1 Corinthians 15:51-53 is just about here right now. It could be any second. This would be the Father keeping His promise to prevent all true believers in His Son from going through the Wrath/Tribulation. Once it starts, the events that will take place will be more terrible than has ever been on this earth. Your eternity – your choice.

Christians have a favorite verse, John 3:16. The VERY NEXT VERSE says that Jesus came not to judge.
It is almost a perfect mirror to the verses you bring up.
And yet, Christians are so judgemental that they insist on telling others they’re sinners, they insist on delivering bad news instead of sticking with the good news.
Convincing people of sin, righteousness , and judgement is the job of the Holy Spirit. It is NOT our job. We have the easy task of telling ONLY the good news.
I am seeing that more clearly with each passing day.
Jesus died claiming to be equal with God. Even His enemies acknowledged that claim. It is simple historicity.
It doesn’t take very much faith to address this simple historical fact — was Jesus a good person or an evil person? That’s the tiny mustard seed of faith required. The rest is simple honest historicity.

The seven years is about Israel, that’s why the prophets identified the period as Jacob’s trouble. The Tribulation is to put an end to sin in Israel thus all seven years and all seven seals are Jacob’s Trouble. The redeemed are in Heaven at the start of the seven years witnessing the opening of the seal judgments that JESUS is sending upon the Earthdwellers. The first is the rider on the White Horse carrying a bow but no arrows, the flase Messiah bringing false peace to ISRAEL so they are fooled into believing he is their Messiah.

I agree 100% this period is about Israel and God keeping his promises to David and to his heirs, Isaiah 11:11, notice he says the ‘second time’ when the first captivity and return of Israel still hadn’t take place yet, it would be 150 years into the future, I can only wonder what Isaiah must’ve thought writing that down,
The events in the Book of Revelation starting at Chapter 4 have entirely to do with the adjudication of the rightful ownership of the Earth and the Jubilee release using the Laws and Ordinances of Moses, the Kinsman Redeemer provisions enacted then being met with a timing element completing Daniels 70 weeks of years (490 years)
Jesus began his ministry reading from the Book of Isaiah and proclaiming the Jubilee (he himself is the Jubilee) and the Israel of his day did not accept it or know the time of their visitation. He read in the Synagogue that day and left out ‘and the Day of Vengeance of our God’ that will proceed from another future Jubilee, see Isaiah 61-63 it appears to also coincide with another Jubilee declaration,
Jesus departed 10 days before Pentecost to send us the Holy Spirit, this created the ecclesia, the Church and he placed us on a pedestal and we are with Jesus in the Kingdom of God (not Kingdom of Heaven which Israel rejected), just meaning we are with him in a very special position (Paul was astounded at what we have been given and provided for) and what is happening in the Book of Revelation between chapters 4 thru 19 are very much Jewish in their use of idioms and purpose,
In Psalm 110 we’re shown “The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.” It matches the order of how Jesus proceeds in the book of Revelation, the Father will perform the overthrow of this Satanic world system,
In Revelation we’re told ‘hear what the Spirit says to the Churches’ and it is repeated 19 times in the first three chapters, then later on (Chapter 13) we hear the same comment again and its very noticeable that the Church is not included, “If any **man** has an ear, let him hear,”
I’m very much willing to be convinced otherwise, but I do not believe the opening of the seven seals are Judgements, instead I believe that begins with the Trumpets, I also believe the book in the right hand of the Father is a title deed to the Earth and all of Creation, and the requirements to take ownership require each part to be met for that section as its opened, I believe the 24 elders are a Court and they adjudicate and confirm Jesus as rightful heir of the Vineyard of the Lord of Hosts as we’re shown in Isaiah 5 and as meeting ALL conditions necessary as a Kinsman Redeemer to Israel over the physical Earth and all of creation (not the Church as “it is finished” at the cross and we are with him at the right hand of the Father forever). All that believe this prior to the start of the great Tribulation are covered by His Holiness and Grace forever, it cannot be undone,
Only a ‘Son of Man’ could be a legitimate ‘Kinsman Redeemer’ and all conditions had to be perfectly met to spare the world complete destruction. One has to be found or this world will be over, no flesh will be saved alive, John understood what was happening and was greatly upset by it,
As each one of the Seals are opened, things that have been long held in check on the Earth are now being allowed to proceed, notice how they say ‘come and see’ as the Four Living beings around the Throne are the ones pointing out the changes, not performing any direct actions, not until later,
Jesus said that he would bind in Heaven what we bind on the Earth, I believe this is what is occurring here, he is loosing those things that are bound until that time including the anti-Christ spirit which has been at work all along until it is no longer restrained, which is exactly what we’re being shown here, I also suspect the four horseman are in some manner related to what Zechariah was shown, I could conjecture more on what is happening but it might get me into trouble :-)

The title deed is the seven sealed scroll and since the first seal releases the antichrist, the entire of the seven seals and the seven years is The Tribulation, with the second half being The Great Tribulation.
When Jesus comes to the first Heaven to gather His to Himself, no one in the 4D zone of spacetime coordinates will see Him as He is. It is after The seed life of God transforms ALL Believers into greater dimensional beings that we see Him as He is (1 John 3:2). This transformation to higher dimensional beings removes us from the 4D zone so The Ecclesia disappears right before we are snatched awqay; the Ecclesia formed since the Day of Pentecost preaching by Peter is made to stand away from the 4D zone (The Apostasia of 2 Thess 2:3), then snatched away (harpazo of 1 Thess 4:16&17) into the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Some amount of time passes before the first seal of the scroll is broken, for The Redeemed are in Heave witnessing the event, already wearing their crowns from their Bema Seat encounter with The Lord.
It is my conjecture that the Isa 17 / Psalm 83 war happens before the first seal is broken and the Restrainer is taken out of the way at the point of the war so that the evil one can spring forth and deceive Israel with all signs and lying wonders into believing he is Israel's Messiah. :A MArzulli is fond of saying 'we go up they come down --the extra terrestrail demonic horde masquerading as space aliens. I have a slightly different take on that since I do believe the Restrainer is preventing such signs and wonders and is not taken out of the way until the Isa 17 war of Israel with its border neighbors. The Restrainer move out of satan's way is the moment I believe 'thgey come down' as part of the great deception, the delusion relates to this 'arrival' event.

What you ask is a serious question - there have been far worse things that have happened over the previous millenia.
Though to be fair, if God prevented various atrocities, we could ask why not prevent personal tragedies. Then it does become that we need to be prevented from every free will act.
So I think it goes that we have the free will to do evil and the alternative is that we are robots. that’s just my opinion

Note that ALL of these entities + the entity in Isaiah 17 - namely Aram -- all of them were taken out of the way in 700 BC -- Edom was absorbed into Israel when the Edomites were forcibly converted to Judaism by the Hasmonean dynasty in the first century BC
Ammon and Moab were destroyed by the Assyrians and the remnants were absorbed into the nation of Israel at the same time as the Edomites
Philistia disappeared before the Assyrian conquest
Assyria itself has never risen again since its conquest by the Median-Babylonian confederation
