Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media.

I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1 JOHN 5:14

Father God, You are near to us who call upon You, who call upon You sincerely and in truth. Jesus, You are the Truth. How we value Truth. How we honor You. As we look at our world right now through the eyes of the Spirit of Truth Whom You have given us, we are amazed. What used to be considered 'common knowledge and decency' seems to have been fully clouded by our enemy, the father of lies. Our spirits and souls ache to see so many held captive by his devices.

We continue in faith, believing that we have prayed according to Your will and that we have the petitions we have placed before You these many years. Therefore, we thank You for pouring out of Your Spirit on all flesh, for filling the earth with the knowledge of Your glory as the waters cover the sea. We pray Your will in Ephesians 1:17-20: We do not cease to give thanks for our UNITED States brethren and, specifically, those who are making decisions for our Nation, States, Counties and Cities that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory may give to them all the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. May the eyes of their understanding be enlightened that they may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward believers. We pray that our Nation would be flooded with the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord and that our people, after seeing and understanding Your holiness, would hunger for You and bow their knees on this side of eternity to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. This is our earnest and heartfelt cry. We lay our pain in faith at Your throne believing that You will fulfill our longing, confirmed by the words of Your prophets. Knowing that this comes from You alone, we pray in the name of Jesus and agree with our Amen.

If it be Your will, we pray for the overturning of the power structures in our country to be in favor of the righteous. And please appoint godly people to replace the current arbiters of our cultural direction.

Please bless and redeem this time to be one of deep reflection and unclouded judgment for Your people...May we clearly discern Your will for each of our lives, instead of going through the motions blindly. According to the dictates of the world. Please awaken us to the sounds and rhythms of Heaven. Renew our minds. Renew our lives.

We praise You and thank You for Your faithfulness to each of us.

I pray for the health and well-being of everyone on this forum and their loved ones especially. And that the Holy Spirit guide everyone as they navigate the day to day waters of this age. Pour out Your wisdom oh LORD. And Your healing grace.
