In case you’re wondering how some religions are coping with the outbreak of COVID-19, just look to the Jehovah’s Witnesses to see how absurd reactions can get.
In a recent video featuring Governing Body member Stephen Lett, he absolutely delights in the disease because he sees it as a signal that Armageddon is imminent.
So the events unfolding around us are making clear, [more] than ever, that we’re living in the final part of the Last Days. Undoubtedly, the final part of the final part of the Last Days, shortly before the last day of the Last Days.
Jehovah’s Witnesses don’t believe in the rapture. Just saying.
There’s a lot of preachers practically dancing in their pulpits.
You want to work, buy, sell, trade...you will need the vaccine passport.
Even the wording from Israel strikes shock into the Christians who are paying attention.
JW’s don’t have a Raputre.
However, they do have an Armageddon with skin peeling and tongue rotting for non JW’s, though, so there’s that.
I want the Rapture to be today.
JW hold that the 144,000 spoken of in Revelation are the true, righteous members of the Watchtower Society and will reign with God in Heaven for eternity. The rest of us who are deemed fit will live on a new Earth for eternity. The problem is those 144,000 numbers were filled up many decades ago, as the WT keeps a list.
Ummm... JWs don’t believe in a rapture.
= = =
Maybe they mean rupture.
When the reprobates in the senate vote in the Equality Act, I predict that God will hit this country with a huge judgment. That would sure be a good time for the rapture to also occur.
The four horsemen of the apocalypse are riding on a merry-go-round. And here comes Death on his pale horse for another rotation.
Rapture preachers, End-Times prophets, Messianic Jews etc. They are the the Christian kids in the backseat whining “aren’t we there yet!” The Jehovah’s Witnesses aren’t even in the car.
Really???
Next you’ll be saying Michael the Archangel is Jesus....
Oh wait, you already believe that.....
The JWs claim Jesus isn’t God...The Catholics bow down and pray to the Queen of Heaven...All y’alls will be sittin’ in the same pews worshiping Jesus after the Rapture takes place...And your muzlim brethren will be right there with you...Oh, and there will be plenty of Protestants and Jews there as well...
JW’s have missed the boat so many times in the past.
Deuteronomy 18:22
KJV
when a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously; thou shalt not be afraid of him.
Sadly so many MODERN DAY so-called prophets of other denominations have done the same thing.
Still got my booklet 88 REASONS WHY THE RAPTURE WILL BE IN 1988.
Stick with the old ones of 2000-3000 years ago. They’ve never failed yet.
They don’t believe they’ll be raptured away from the earth; they believe that angels will come down to earth and slaughter everyone but them. (That’s what they mean by “Armageddon”.)
Absolutely correct.
I think it’s a fictional story...
>>> they believe that angels will come down to earth and slaughter everyone but them.
Actually, the angels come down and MARK each one of them (144,000) which makes them OFF LIMITS to the demons who WILL destroy everyone else. This according to the book of Revelation... but the 144k are 12k from each TRIBE OF ISRAEL.... The JEWS... not JWs.
It’s actually what’s known as a fable...a story intended to convey a lesson. Even if the story is fictional, the lesson it contains is still very real.
I was about to make a similar remark, but you beat me to it.
No one earthling, no one human, no person knows or can predict when Christ returns. No one, except Christ Himself. Period.
What do we all do with all this toilet paper???
