My TLM parish went from 600 to 800 in the last 6 months, while some of the Novos are being actively shuttered by the bishop.
This article is just a hissy fit brought to you by Boomer Karen and Novus Ordo Kathy along with Susan from the Parish Council

Wasn’t the purpose of the Vulgate in Latin so the people of that generation could read in their language? Why did tbe Holy Spirit give different languages at Pentecost? Use the BOOK.

The Novus Ordo church is going to fade into oblivion in the coming decades.
Franciscan Sr. Katarina Schuth, professor emerita at the Seminaries of St. Paul in Minnesota, has spent decades analyzing seminarians and authored numerous articles and books on the subject. She said the faculties of most seminaries now have few professors, much less students, who have a lived experience of Vatican II. That transformation in the church is seen as something for the history books.
That’s exactly the point. Vocations to the priesthood among men who have “a lived experience of Vatican II” have fallen off dramatically because they have no interest in the priesthood in a homosexual/feminized clergy.

How can any religious precepts be "hyper-orthodox". Either a religious belief is orthodox or it's a different religion.

Many Catholic exorcist priests report that the old rite exorcism said in Latin is much more effective than the newer rite.

a Jesuit priest incorrectly—only Jesuit educated.

To be honest, nearly EVERY church that It have been to of late (friends and their children’s special occasions) has me leaving the service thinking “WTF was THAT ?!?!”.

I was commenting yesterday
about companies refraining from producing woke Super Bowl advertisements because they (finally) are afraid of annoying normal people. I said that Nike or Dick's
should focus on enhancing shareholder value because that's what a company should do. If instead they've disregarded shareholders and became woke because it is the "right thing to do," they should change their corporate designation to a 501(c)3 because they have made politics their religion and their dogma is insouciant liberalism.
The article reads like the reverse of my argument...NCR is basically saying the Church should act like a corporation to maximum attendance with disregard to dogma/saving souls.

That’s exactly what it is. They’re probably all a million years old anyway, and their children don’t go to church because their parents have driven them out by making it so meaningless.
Our TLM has doubled in attendance. This is at least in part because the Latin masses were often the only ones that kept on going and new people stumbled into them - and stayed.
At the same time, the situation made the TLM people more welcoming. Some of those groups were famous for being obsessed with the small things and also spent all their time looking for liturgical flaws in the priests. Things will be very different for the Church in the future. This will open up the TLM parishes and people will go to them by default because they may be the last ones standing.

mass a children’s liturgy. That seems to be the common theme. They are services for children, not adults.
