No mention of America in the Book of Revelation = bad sign for its future.

“No mention of America in the Book of Revelation = bad sign for its future.”

My take as well. IMHO.

America is hinted at in the 12th chapter.

The pregnant woman goes to a wilderness to escape.

America was known as a wilderness in its early days.

No mention of America in the Book of Revelation = bad sign for its future.

"revelation" = "discovery"... the same root as the word "megillah", a scroll.

It's like no one has ever heard of Esther the Queen, the famous crypto-Jewess.

Megillat Esther is alternately translated as the "Revelation of the Hidden".

Esther -- the modest Jewish girl who had no interest in becoming royalty, which goes a long way in explaining why she won the beauty contest.

America the Beautiful

When Haman realized that it was game over, he pleaded with Queen Esther for his life.

Maybe he should have found something good to say at some point. But oh no, it was "the Joos" this and "the Joos" that. Mordecai the Jew was the face of them all.

Esther's peeps.

The world is full of surprises.

Herbert W. Armstrong brought us the cult of Anglo-Israelism, and Cotton Mather brought us the rapture. Both of these ideas were hatched in the United States. America is not the promised land and we are not God’s chosen people. Wake up America, it’s not about you. L.B.J. summed up western theology perfectly “the best way to pick a person’s pocket is to convince them they’re better than somebody else”.

In the book of revelation there is no mention of the USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil (or any Western hemisphere country), no mention of Ireland, the UK, Spain, France , Poland, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, India, China, Japan, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Zimbabwe, Vietnam etc. etc.

A lot of countries aren’t mentioned specifically that may be part of nation groupings that are mentioned.

We think China is mentioned because of the “kings of the East” mention in Revelation but it isn’t mentioned specifically. Could be most of Asia, Pakistan, AfGhanistan, ect.

France isn’t mentioned...(might be a good thing; Mark Twain would have thought so.)

Beastie boy may have a country that serves as his power base before attempting to rule the world out of Israel. The USA may be it!

cheers...
