Christians Debate The Prophetic Future Of America - Prosperity vs End Times

Are you surprised by America's sudden meltdown? Over the past 12 months, we have witnessed the greatest public health crisis in 100 years, the lockdowns that were instituted to control the pandemic resulted in the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression of the 1930s, widespread civil unrest erupted in the aftermath of George Floyd's death and has not stopped since, and now we are witnessing the greatest political turmoil since the Civil War.

Despite all of this chaos, many Americans remain absolutely convinced that the greatest days of the United States are still ahead of us. To them, the current problems we are facing are just minor bumps in the road that will soon be resolved as we continue to steamroll toward an incredibly glorious future.

Personally, I don't see how this makes any sense at all, but there are millions upon millions of people out there that actually believe this...

America is hinted at in the 12th chapter.

The pregnant woman goes to a wilderness to escape.

America was known as a wilderness in its early days.

No mention of America in the Book of Revelation = bad sign for its future.

"revelation" = "discovery"... the same root as the word "megillah", a scroll.

It's like no one has ever heard of Esther the Queen, the famous crypto-Jewess.

Megillat Esther is alternately translated as the "Revelation of the Hidden".

Esther -- the modest Jewish girl who had no interest in becoming royalty, which goes a long way in explaining why she won the beauty contest.

America the Beautiful

When Haman realized that it was game over, he pleaded with Queen Esther for his life.

Maybe he should have found something good to say at some point. But oh no, it was "the Joos" this and "the Joos" that. Mordecai the Jew was the face of them all.

Esther's peeps.

The world is full of surprises.

Thanks for posting.

Things will get pretty bad before Jesus returns and destroys the enemy at the Battle of Aramgeddon.

Your incoherent, random blather does not make any points.

You need to work on your random word generator. It would improve your posts coherence.

ANYTHING would make more sense than what you regularly post.

Herbert W. Armstrong brought us the cult of Anglo-Israelism, and Cotton Mather brought us the rapture. Both of these ideas were hatched in the United States. America is not the promised land and we are not God’s chosen people. Wake up America, it’s not about you. L.B.J. summed up western theology perfectly “the best way to pick a person’s pocket is to convince them they’re better than somebody else”.

Looking back, Christians prayed to defeat Bill Clinton, did not work.

Christians prayed to defeat Obama, did not work.

Christians prayed to defeat Biden and that did not work.

All the time, the ‘sack and ashcloth’ are usually trotted out, until their candidate of choice wins the election.

Crickets.

Argument? Well that’s an odd choice of words.

Jesus is a great guy. A real “Can-Do” fellow. He goes around helping people up, healing them with the good news that their sins are forgiven so it’s okay, you can go ahead and get on up now! Full of mercy, selflessness and compassion. Not that he’s a chump, though. Some think that by laying down his life, he became a doormat.

The Jesus of the Bible is the anti-establishment leader whose message is simple, good and restorative. He came from within the system but is not of the system.

That’s why his actual disciples are certain to get the “treatment” by the mob consensus who follow establishment-Jesus.

Christ is the head of the church so he’s a fine Christian man. Who would believe it?

Interesting days ahead!

"Reconstructionism" is (along with sedevacantist/Feeneyite Catholicism) one of the de facto official theologies of the John Birch Society (it's the one for Protestants). It is of course fanatically anti-Israel.

Although they won't admit it "officially," the JBS believes (or did at one time) that the Scofield Reference Bible was a plot of "the conspiracy."

The JBS and its media always praises Israel-hating "conservatives" like Pat Buchanan and Ron Paul. They refuse to so much as admit the existence of traditional/majority American Fundamentalist Protestantism.

America was known as a wilderness in its early days.

So was every country before becoming civilized. America will go down quick, as soon as it drops support for Israel. And that could happen quickly under Biden.

Your incoherent, random blather does not make any points.

Excellent. I have zero desire to score points with scorners with scorecards.

Your recurring drive-by insults keep piling on the blessings though. Here's the rest of your post in case anyone missed it:

You need to work on your random word generator. It would improve your posts coherence.

ANYTHING would make more sense than what you regularly post.

I can count on you to conclude that something that *you* don't personally understand = incoherent nonsense. Then the contents of your heart bubbles right up.

It's a real shame. I don't suppose you'd appreciate the picture of the DAVID Seeds packet, which states that DAVID Seeds is "An American Original".

It's such a simple package with a simple message. Not complicated in the slightest.

Stay classy, metmom!

I thought that the US being Babylon in revelation was a well known fact. This has always been so obvious to me. It’s a wonder that people don’t see how clearly we are mystery Babylon

America may be part of the final Babylon, however Most Bible Scholars would agree Babylon is Modern Day Iraq.

Actually, it did work, because the Lord carried us through those two evil men’s terms. We had to depend on Him through those terrible times. The Lord doesn’t always answer the way we THINK He will.

As for Biden, we know President Trump would never turn America over to the Beast, but Biden would do that in a heartbeat. Prophecy will be fulfilled someday, and the stage will be set. Bottom line, the nations are the Lord’s footstool, but His will takes precedence.

“America may be part of the final Babylon, however Most Bible Scholars would agree Babylon is Modern Day Iraq.”

“Most” Bible scholars don’t agree on much of anything when it comes to the book of Revelation other than the most general outlines (“God wins”). I’ve read dozens of well reasoned but wildly conflicting interpretations of what or where Babylon represents.
