Are you surprised by America's sudden meltdown? Over the past 12 months, we have witnessed the greatest public health crisis in 100 years, the lockdowns that were instituted to control the pandemic resulted in the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression of the 1930s, widespread civil unrest erupted in the aftermath of George Floyd's death and has not stopped since, and now we are witnessing the greatest political turmoil since the Civil War.
Despite all of this chaos, many Americans remain absolutely convinced that the greatest days of the United States are still ahead of us. To them, the current problems we are facing are just minor bumps in the road that will soon be resolved as we continue to steamroll toward an incredibly glorious future.
Personally, I don't see how this makes any sense at all, but there are millions upon millions of people out there that actually believe this...

Jesus warned in Matthew 24 that false teachers and false prophets was be the #1 sign of his soon return, but that many would be deceived. Nowhere In scripture did Jesus say Christians would rise up. Rather, he asked, “when the son of man comes, will he find faith?” Jesus said in Matthew 24:11, “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.” He also warned believers not to be like the 5 foolish virgins.
No mention of America in the Book of Revelation = bad sign for its future.
Where does this come from? I've never heard of it. The Bible portrays Christians being persecuted until His return. Tribulation is not dominion.
Yep...
Kingdom Now theology is similar to Democrat Utopia theology.
Yes, it is.
“No mention of America in the Book of Revelation = bad sign for its future.”
My take as well. IMHO.
Just my personal opinion here:
While I believe that America will decline even further and eventually either (1) be absorbed into the Antichrist’s one-world empire, or (2) be rendered impotent by being embroiled in its own civil war (rendering her unable to come to Israel’s aid), I don’t think that time is quite yet.
Personal belief is that after Pres. Trump (and POSSIBLY one term under his son), it’s “lights out” for the red, white & blue. But I don’t think his work is quite done yet.
Not sure what you are asking?
I tend to agree with you
We are getting ready to see how the prosperity ‘gospel’ works in a socialist country. Good news is that the Biblical Gospel is true in all economic conditions.
There are a few obscure verses — one I believe in Revelation 12, and a couple in Isaiah, that COULD be referring to America, although not by name.
So I won’t absolutely, positively, 100% dismiss the possibility out of hand, although I don’t feel it’s very likely that America will be around at The End.
Doom sells. The beatings will continue until morale improves, and so forth.
People eat that stuff up. Otherwise they’d have to accomplish something useful.
Joshua and Caleb were the reality-deniers of their day, and Elijah was the lone nut of his.
There’s nothing new under the sun, but in that statement is the defacto reality that the sun is out.
A good day for Mordecai *is* a bad day for Haman.
Judgment Day looms large for the oxygen thieves (Amalekites).
Yeah, what justmythoughts said.
No mention of Canada, South America of Australia either.
Your argument is with Jesus, not me.
