The Catholic Faith, the voice of the Magisterium, and common sense reject the recognition of civil homosex unions, Bishop Athanasius Schneider writes in an October 22 statement.
He points out that homosexuals seek sexual pleasure from each other which represents a "great scandal," “a public recognition of sins of fornication,” and is "unrealistic.”
“With deep sorrow and a weeping heart,” Schneider regrets that Francis pronounced an endorsement of homosex unions. Thus, he supports "a structure of sin, for a lifestyle against the sixth Commandment of the Decalogue,” Schneider explains.
He points out that Francis’ approval of homosex unions is “incredible,” “a new doctrine,” scheming with sin", anti-pastoral, and could imply the loss of Francis' soul.

If I remember correctly, there are around seven Bible verses that condemn the gay life style. I wouldn’t be surprise if there are new editions of the Bible that omit those verses.

To be fair there was always a primary purpose and a secondary purpose to procreation per the traditional teachings of the Catholic Church. After Vatican II via Paul VI, the two became equal purposes.
The increased emphasis on the one, and the decreased emphasis on the other, that is to say, both, did not stop or freeze when purported equality (I say purported because this was never in fact the case) between the two “goods” was achieved, but continued to undergo magnification to the point where now, the two have clearly switched positions in the hierarchy.
