How should Christians vote?

In just two weeks Americans will go to the polls. For whom should Christians vote? This election is vitally important to you and future generations. There is a side that is openly supportive to Christians and the church. However, there is also a strong political movement that blatantly hates God and Christians. They ridicule Christians as racist, backward unscientific, judgmental and unsophisticated. They tell us that we need to change and update our doctrine to conform to their views about homosexuality, Islam, abortion and tax-payer funding for contraception. They approve of abortion even till after birth. They desire to use government to control families and education. Now is the time to stand, not only with your vote, but becoming informed over the issues, writing your legislators as well as the president and educating others. Well just duh.

Since the question has the dreaded word, should- They should think. Use the brains God gave them. And they should pray to God. Have a relationship with God otherwise reserve the word Christian for those who follow Christ Jesus which would lead them to the discernment to see evil when it comes at them bearing a chocolate milk shake.

Why do Christians even consider mohammedanism as something to bring to America?

How? Vote TRUMP. The most pro-life, pro-Christian President of my lifetime.

Liberals sometimes ask, how can Christians support Trump, given that he has not lived his life as a devout Christian himself.

In my opinion, the answers to such questions are:

1. We are electing people to high positions in our secular government, not selecting people to run our religious organizations when we vote in elections.

2. In many elections, from president on down to local city council elections, it is common that no candidate is strongly religious or strongly Christian.

3. Liberals ignore the fact that politicians who have run against Trump in elections are not devout Christians, so you have an election in which there is no way to vote for a devout Christian such as yourself.

4. Liberals seems to think that people who are members of various groups, blacks, Christians, Asians, etc. will or should support one of their group running for office. Exhibit A is Jimmy Carter. He was proud to say he was a born again Christian. I am not here to question the faith of Carter, but can say that I strongly opposed him, politically speaking. His being a born again Christian did not override his policies, when I was deciding who to vote for. And we vote for people to run our secular government. Our votes are not a proxy vote on whether we approve of a candidate’s religion.

Anyone who claims to be a Christian but votes for any Democrat is delusional, or worse.

Yeah, they have long sought to smear Christians as judgmental rubes. And in the same breath they then pronounce all Whites to be racist and that America is systemically racist.

True, well said.

We are not electing a Pastor in Chief, we are electing a Commander in Chief. Religious people understand, that we are not electing someone to be in charge of our church or denomination.

I am a Christian. I don’t have to consult anyone’s opinion to know I will vote for Trump.

Now, I could be a raging hypocrite and vote for the baby-killers, the America-haters, the bought-off traitors, the gender-benders, etc.

A Christian can never be an active Democrat. The party platform is completely antithetical to that of a believer, especially their abortion sacrament.

A Christian who chooses not to vote is merely an idiot, a Christian who votes Democrat is a heretic.

Change my mind

There are plenty of both pastors and professors at non mainline conservative churches and seminaries who openly acknowledge they are democrats or vote democrat and sympathize with democrats. This strange thing known as the social gospel in currently at its ascendancy everywhere with strange fruit for sure. Now we have the covid gospel asserting itself with many only too happy to enjoy its delicacies. Get on board lie a good Christian should or you might be a neighborhood murderer. How pathetic...
