I’ve said often that if it were possible to do a mass exorcism, the Democrat wing of legislative chambers should be the focus. We ARE in spiritual warfare, for sure.
Normal, un-possessed people do not think and act as they are doing.
Right. If the Holy Spirit lives in a person, it’s not possible to be possessed. I believe there can be demonic influence from the outside, but not indwelling. Influence most likely goes on constantly.
It’s not only Catholics that exorcise demons. When I was growing up, foreign missionaries (Baptist) often stayed with us in the parsonage when in the States on furlough. The stories they told of casting out demons were chilling.
The adults were discussing it, and I was supposed to be in bed asleepN but I listened. Scares the crap out of me.
Jesus spoke in parables so those who could understand would, and those who couldn’t, wouldn’t. As planned.
Where does it say in the Bible that it is not possible for believers to be indwelt by evil sprits/devils/demons? The Bible said that there were those “posessed WITH devils, which in Olde English simply means that one HAD devils. Like fleas. Like parasites.

The Roman Catholic item known as “exorcism” is not the same item as biblical deliverance.

When the Holy Spirit is within, there is a radiance of Light that unclean spirits are afraid of.
Hell is perception a soul experiences when trying to hold onto darkness while trying to exist in the radiance if God.
It’s like placing a dense object in the high frequency of a microwave. It heats up and catches on fire.
One can do mass deliverance; but not for unbelievers.
“But you can bind those things.” Mt. 18:18 and 16:19
One can also break curses, vexes, hexes, spells, etc. upon persons, places and things, and anoint (any oil is good, olive is the gold standard) and bless them and take possession of them in the Name of Jesus Christ.
It takes a bit of effort and persistence, and one may need usually to do it more than once, but things do begin to shift in an interesting manner if a Christian takes authority over them in in Jesus’ Name.
A friend of mine and I began to do a city block and were almost immediately accosted by a demon-infested drunk young woman who screamed at us, all passers-by, and various entities we could not see. She then began to chase cars, and then returned to us and we spoke to the thing in her. Eventually, she began to jump up and down on the hood of the car. We ordered the demon off, and for her to go home, and then left. She chased us down the road.

Mark 16:9 to 20 does not appear in the early manuscript evidence or early Church fathers. It was likely added because the ending appeared to be so abrupt without it. There may have been another ending that we are not aware of but, in truth, the Holy Spirit rules. The other gospels fill in the blanks.
One thing that goes away when this is no longer included is snake handling. I don’t think that’s a bad thing.

In 2016 I was helping a 97 year old woman who was blind and bedridden. She began crying and I asked her why?
She replied, “I’m afraid I’m going to hell.”
She stopped eating that night and did not eat anything for the next 3 weeks.
I sat next to her, praying non stop for several hours, but the portal to Heaven would not open. I kept praying.
Her physical body began radiating heat like a furnace. You could stand near her bed and feel it radiating outward. This continued for all three weeks.
I asked the hospice nurse about it, and she had no idea. She had no infection.
I could see the liquid swirling golden Light around the woman, but didn’t realize what was happening.
Finally, after 3 weeks of no food and one week of no liquid, the portal to Heaven opened up and she passed.
The next morning, about 14 hrs after her death, family asked me to put a nice long sleeve blouse and slacks on her. I thought I would need to cut the clothing and lay it on top if her, but her body was totally flexible, no rigor mortis.
I finally realized that her soul contained so much fear that she was afraid of the Light of Heaven. So the Holy Spirit came upon her in a lower strength of Light and cleansed her soul for 3 weeks before she was pure enough to be in the Light of Heaven.
The Holy Spirit purified her so rigor did not happen to her body.

That same year a woman in severe pain from bone cancer yelled for them to bring me into her room. When I arrived, she rolled over in bed and reached both hands toward me.
She asked me to take hold of her hands and pull her out of her body!
I laughed out loud and told her that’s not how you die. Just relax. Look to God and surrender. She lifted out within 2 minutes.
With enough meditation and prayer, anyone can make this journey to Heaven while still in your physical body. This is the lifted or raised up concept of the rapture. Jesus is already here, we must just raise up to see and experience Him.

I’ve stayed away from doing this work except in a few instances where coincidences facilitated it. Thus I have never met Dr Gallagher. I look forward to reading his book.
Quite a few years ago I was doing a major exorcism and thousands of stuck souls were going to the Light. The room got freezing cold like a blast freezer. Satan came and confronted me.
I turned to Michael and said. “There he is. You can get him.”
Michael replied, “It’s not time yet.”
At that moment I realized that God is in control and everything is happening according to His plan. God is in control of satan as well and using him for Divine Purpose.
Tribulation is the process of plowing the field to get rid of the old, so the new can sprout and grow in the New Light.
We are entering the Springtime of soul growth.
When we are full of ourselves we have no room for God. Satan is just helping God crush our ego self so we look to God in despair for a higher strength.
I speak from first hand experience Many times over many years I have encountered this. I believe the Bible as the truth, with few translation errors.

The contents of people’s souls and consciousness itself is physical to my perception. I observe what I speak of in direct experience.
By the way, memories begin at conception. Actually a bit prior while the baby’s soul is still in Heaven. Often when I touch these stored memories many feet from a person’s physical body they remember the experience and feel the bliss.
I will only critique your theology here, for men like Moses, Paul and Peter were far from great sinners. The degree of iniquity of sinners and their judgment is based upon the degree of sin relative to the light and other aspects of grace given to them, and motive in cases where that applies. Peter was trying to defend the Lord He loved (and likely was aiming for the head). Moses killed a man who was abusing the people of God, and Paul in conscience toward God was punishing Christians (which is why he could say, "I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day:" Acts 23:1. "but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief." (1 Timothy 1:13)) In contrast to which is a man such as John Newton, who, having read the work of Christ-rejectors, not only did the same but tried to subvert the faith of others, and not in conscience toward God.
