He’s only off by a couple thousand years or so.
Lets party like its 1994 !!!
He only has to be right once!
You know, considering some of the things said in the Scriptures I’m willing to bet nobody will actually be predicting the time that Christ actually returns.
Sadly, this is like my “all I gotta do is pick six numbers I would never, ever pick (and not a quick pick)” fullproof system for picking winning lottery ticket numbers.
A Rabbi walks into a bar. He has a long, long grey beard, he’s wearing tzitzis, the whole package. And he has a frog on his shoulder.
The bartender asks, “Where did you get that?!”
The frog answers, “Brooklyn, there are lots of them there.”
Sounds like what someone somewhere said "Look, here is the Christ! or There! do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. "
A quick reminder...
The Jewish concept of the Messiah is significantly different than the Christian concept of the Messiah. This Rabbi is a member of the Hassidic movement which has many different groups. His opinions may not supported by other groups or by the Jewish community. Ancient Jewish history has had many false Messiahs.
Got oil in your lamp? That is the question. Watch and wait; for you know not what hour the Bridegroom cometh.
I see a number of dear allies of mine on here who have made light, made fun. I think it is best to wait and see, and observe the signs of the times. The Main Rabbi said that.
Well if their “Messiah” is coming this year, that can mean only one thing:
The Rapture is even closer
MARANATHA!
Translation:Trump will kick Bidens ass
Makes sense. After all, 50 is the number signifying arrival.
Well, this will be interesting.
These predictions are almost as common as the Nazarene cults that say the same thing.
Theres an old Jewish saying: if you are plowing your field and hear the Mosiach is in Jerusalem, finish plowing before going to see.
I was telling my daughter about this article and my 6 year old grandson asked “Who’s coming this year?” When I told him Jesus he yelled, “YES!”
Well it’s nice that he knows more than Yeshua who even He doesn’t know when He’ll return; nobody knows but the Father.
The Jewish messiah, or mesach, just needs to be someone who does a big favor to Judaism or Israel. In its origin, the mesach was supposed to be a Jewish leader who leads the Jews to military and political hegemony. But this changed.
Even Cyrus the Great (c. 600530 BC), the king of the first Persian Empire, respected the customs and religions of the lands he conquered.
What is sometimes referred to as the Edict of Restoration (actually two edicts) described in the Bible as being made by Cyrus the Great left a lasting legacy on the Jewish religion. According to Isaiah 45:1 of the Hebrew Bible, God anointed Cyrus for this task, even referring to him as a messiah (lit. ‘anointed one’) and he is the only non-Jewish figure in the Bible to be called so.

Old advice in the Talmud: if you’re planting a tree (i.e. doing a mundane task) when someone comes running up to you to tell you that the Moschiach (Messiah) has come, finish planting the tree. IOW, don’t believe it so fast, and certainly don’t change what you normally do because of it. If it happens, well then you have nothing to worry about anyway.
I think that this advice applies here. Don’t get me wrong, I hope that the guy is right - but I’m not holding my breath.
"When Messiah comes, I will be too overwhelmed to ask if it is His first time or His second."
