So months back I asked for prayers for my nephew Bill's wife Jessica. She had been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer that was called incurable. Bill and Jessica have two little boys 2 and 6 and the future for all of them looked very scary. The prayers from all of you joined with those of our family, have worked a miracle. After completing a course of chemo treatments Jessica got her new diagnosis. She is 100% free of cancer! Thanks be to the Lord and all of you who prayed with us for this young mother! Thank you, thank you thank you!

I am asking for prayers for my sweet friend Beth. She was recently diagnosed with early stages of dementia.

Beth was a tremendous source of strength and courage for me when I lost my mother to cancer back in 1997. I tried to help her as she watched her own mother languish for several years as dementia took her piece by piece. Beth worked with my husband for over 20 years until recently when she had to retire due to "episodes" brought on by the same disease that took her mom.

For Christmas, I made her what I hoped was a special gift. She had given me pieces of her mom's formal china because I had the exact same pattern- from my late grandmother. Knowing Beth loved birds as much as I do I made her a bird feeder out of a cup and saucer from her mom's china. I was not prepared for what happened after she received it. Last night I got a very emotional call from Beth thanking me for the gift. She said it brought back loving memories of her mom, some of which she had long forgotten.

I am so thankful God used me to bring some happiness into her life. I have never, ever, felt the significance of an act of kindness like I did last night. Knowing I brought peace and love into someones heart was an experience I know came straight from God.

I would appreciate prayer for my daughter Rachel.

She just found an apartment outside LA in southern CA and now it looks like her landlord is going to sell the building and she doesn’t know if the new landlord will honor her lease. She is exempt from getting evicted either because of, well, regulations so it’s a very real possibility for her.

Apartments in that area are very difficult to obtain.

Please pray she could stay put for a change. She’s had to move so many times already. Personally, I would love it if she could transfer to another office in another state. That would help, too and get her out of CA.

Anyways, please pray for God’s provision for her. Thanks.

My Beloved fellow FReepers, please lift up in prayer my dear parents, who are suffering so much with various disorders and illnesses. My Dad is in terrible pain with his neck vertebrae and has Parkinson Disease, and my precious Mom has lung problems and also suffers from Pseudomonas Aureas in her sinuses. She has lost an astounding amount of weight and is very weak, but she fights as a warrior each and every day and her faith in the Lord is one to be envied by all. My dear Dad is strong in his mind, such a blessing--always learning new things from watching TV, even though he is much confined to his chair.

My Mom also has found that she has a UTI infection, which she is treating with D-Mannose. Prayers that she would receive healing in this area as well. She cannot smell or taste food, and she also has very bad acid reflux from so much coughing and strain on her chest. She needs to see her doctors, but she feels too ill to go, and it is my sister and brother-in-law's responsibility that my Mom and Dad receive care, and they have been good in that area. But my Mom needs immediate care and looks to need oxygen therapy, for I believe I'm witnessing oxygen depravation. She needs nutritional aid to help her to gain weight, so that her immune system can fight off also rheumatoid arthritis. She did not have rheumatoid arthritis until after she received a Prolia shot, which I believe severely compromised her already weak immune system and attacked her joints.

All these things are present, but I know that her, my, Our Redeemer Lives. Praise the Lord, Jesus is Returning soon, sooner that we think. Come quickly, Lord Jesus. AMEN.
