A number of recent developments help illustrate how quickly a false Messianic figure could emerge on the earth, in both religious and secular circles.
Prepare to read some shocking quotes. But first, let me set the stage.
The events surrounding the coronavirus have demonstrated how quickly the status quo can be overturned, how dramatically the fortunes of nations can shift, and how a call for one-world cooperation can arise.
And what if there was a worldwide economic collapse, accompanied by plague and famine? Is it too farfetched to imagine that a powerful, problem solving leader could gain an international following?
I do not believe we are at that point. But I do believe that, in front of our eyes, we're seeing how quickly the table can be set, even from an entirely secular point of view.
All the more does this become feasible when we add in religious beliefs.
Jesus famously warned His disciples, saying "Be careful that no one leads you astray! For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Messiah,' and will lead many astray." (Matthew 24:4-5 TLV) He also warned that, "Many false prophets will arise and lead many astray." (Matthew 24:11, TLV)

if He came to earth, none of us could deny Him and every knee would bow to Him

A friend alerted me to the teachings a few days in advance of the beginning of the fast; and I figured I'd give the series a watch. I'd never heard of FAI before; but I have recently finished a serious and reasonably educated read through the OT prophets, during which study I saw more clearly several themes about the end times that hadn't quite gelled in my head before.
I was interested to see what someone else to had say about all that; so I watched the daily lessons. Each installment is thirty minutes to an hour long. I was impressed. All the presenters do a good job of sticking to scripture. I recommend the entire Maranatha experience, which also includes some extra teachings. You must download the FAI app in order to consume any of their media. I hate the concept of "apps" with a passion, and I wasn't excited to be chasing down another one. But this was worth it.
Preterists and Replacement theologians will not be impressed with the series, FWIW. And anyone who disagrees with a presenter's interpretation of any given scripture will take issue, of course. But that's the nature of scriptural analysis, especially with regards to eschatology.
This is an interesting article. I didn't know most of the names but it was an eye-opener for me.
I would argue that the status quo has not been quickly overturned, nor the fortunes of nations shifted dramatically. The overturning and shifting has been underway since at least the time of the French Revolution. What the coronavirus has done is merely pull back the curtain on many things that have been in the works for some time...globalist agendas hell bent on destroying personal liberties, imposing secularist worldviews, crushing any dissent along the way.
have you read his Jezebel book?
Don't know for sure, but it's a step in the conditioning process.
Give it two more generations. Not yet.

Max McLean does s tremendous job, especially with the KJV.
Very well stated and is it not ironic that everything that increases the chances of death, disease, and population reductions are pushed as ‘necessary’ by the left.
They follow their ‘father’ the Devil (SATAN).
More headline chasing entertainment for the dispensationalists.
And more trolling by trolls.
Do you have that much of a mental issue that you gotta keep spewing garbage based on your false biblical views?
There’s help for that out there.
I will!
excellent point!
Actually, this is a great article. If people believe in magical masks, 6 feet, and a bunch of other superstitious crap and are willing to destroy their lives in support of that magic, a Messianic figure is easily within reason. A charismatic figure could easily lead the people into doing anything, they already are.
The corona virus shows us the risks associated with globalization, high-density living, and mass transit. As part of their remedy to avoid future pandemics, the left will recommend MORE of all three. Im not joking.

This has to be the dumbest thing Ive heard all week and I entirely agree with you.
Amazing what folks will do to toss their freedom away in exchange for made up ‘security’.
This entire ‘plannedemic’ is a set up.
