FReepers I don't know this kid but about a week ago his picture came up on one of my facebook pages Would seem his condition is not getting better and his family will have to make a tough decision in the next 24 hours.
His name is Teddy Nelson, as the title implies he is from Logan, WV. The kid is only 25 years old. Below is a facebook link with his picture and I'm posting in my comments what his friend has said.

As most of us know, Teddy recently contracted the novel COVID-19 coronavirus and the complications have left him fighting for his life on a ventilator at Logan Regional Medical Center. A little over an hour ago, his sister, Megan, posted that his family will have to "start making decisions that aren't easy" if he doesn't show improvement within the next 24 hours. She added that the doctors said they have done all they can do.
Teddy is a great, great guy and I always enjoyed talking to him whenever I did. He graduated from Logan High School in 2013, the year before me, and he is only 25 years old. All of this has just been truly sad and catastrophic for our community. For all those who pray, this is the time to do it, and remember his family as well, because I couldn't even begin to imagine what they're having to face right now. — with Teddy Nelson."

Dear Father, please hear our prayer for Teddy. if the doctors have given up, only your Son can help Teddy now. Jesus Glorify yourself for this young man. help the family to have patience, strengthen their faith as they wait for You. we understand the doctors don’t decide, You alone decide.
please, gracious Lord, restore him whole and healed to his loving family. yet, we thank You and praise You no matter what Your will is on this matter. we ask all of this for Your Name’s sake, in Jesus’ Holy Name we implore. Amen.
Prayers for Teddy and his family.
I don’t think anybody is supposed to be on a ventilator for a long period of time. The primary risk is multiple organ failure. If he doesn’t have much brain activity at this point, that should help to guide the family in this hard decision. Poster Morgana likely knows far more about this process than I do.
