Graham argued, "In my opinion, the gay movement wouldn’t ever be happy with Chick-fil-A unless they were open on Sunday, gave all of their charitable donations to LGBTQ organizations, and flew the rainbow flag over their stores! Their hatred for Chick-fil-A is rooted in founder Truett Cathy’s strong stand for biblical “traditional” values and his desire to honor God."

Total destruction of all Chick-fil-A stores would be the only thing that would make the movement happy, and then it would only be for a few moments, until they found their next target to demonize.

This incident reinforces the truism that we should NEVER believe ANYTHING in any MSM source that makes our side look bad for at least 72 hours, which is how long it usually takes for the truth to come out.

The Salvation Army is not an extremist group. No matter what Target and homofascists think.

after the fast-food chain’s charity arm decided to no longer donate to three organizations criticized for upholding traditional Christian beliefs on sexuality.

From what I have read this was never mentioned as a reason for the change.

Fake news from an unlikely source!

Why are so many people trying to dictate how Chick-fil-A spends, or does nor spend its own money?

Christian values?

In that case, the blood feud by the mentally ill continues.

Eventually companies will stop donating to causes, because somebody is going to be offended, and they’re just better off focusing on their core business.

Franklin Graham I adore and he’s more openly political than daddy was
But I didn’t see a decent explanation why

Erick Erickson speaks for no one

He can go to hell in a bucket as Hodding Carter Sr used to love to say when the klan threatened him

Why are so many people trying to dictate how Chick-fil-A spends, or does nor spend its own money?

They became emblematic of the culture war. They surrendered for no apparent reason. Were they just tired of leftist carping? Did they figure it's easier to surrender than to fight? It's just very disappointing.

"Dan was very clear that they have not bowed down to anyone’s demands, including the LGBTQ community. They will continue to support whoever they want to support. They haven’t changed who they are or what they believe. Chick-fil-A remains committed to Christian values. Dan Cathy assured me that this isn’t going to change. I hope all those who jumped to the wrong conclusion about them read this," Graham wrote."

Then what was the meaning and purpose of the statement CFA released? Why would you need to put out a press release saying, "We're going to keep doing what we've always done." Methinks CFA is doing some damage control spin here. As long as they blacklist the Salvation Army they are dead to me.

I thought that was the standard uproar......

It will work it’s way out and if they maintain the quality of food
the public will continue to eat their product. Some will fly the
coop as is their choice. I doubt their philanthropy will have a
large bearing on their commercial success. JMO

"Why are so many people trying to dictate how Chick-fil-A spends, or does nor spend its own money?"

Because they've always been very outspoken about their Christian identity, essentially using it as a marketing tool for conservative Christians.
