Pastor Tony Evans is asking for all people of faith to pray for a supernatural intervention as his wife battles to defeat cancer despite chemotherapy no longer being an option.
The Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship senior pastor shared the update in a letter...
Evans wrote, "Lois spent all of last week in the hospital due to severe pain related to her biliary cancer. The doctors were able to manage the pain, and they released her from the hospital for home care."
Last week, Evans posted a video showing prayer warriors outside the family's home praying for 24 hours on rotation, believing for a miracle for Lois.
The minister declared he is clinging to the promises of God more than ever because medical remedies are no longer responding....

My wife has stage 4 breast cancer, with mets in her spine, ribs, and hips. It will be two years next May. The survival curve shows most are dead within two years of being diagnosed as stage 4. Her last two PET scans show increasing progression.
I saw a research article earlier this year about a new drug combination. I expected trials, etc, but nothing was happening. So, I did a search on it a couple months ago and found a guy on a cancer forum treating himself with the combination.
He had also seen the article, but he took action and called and talked to the lead researcher at the University of Basel, in Switzerland. The research was on mice, so he worked out a dose for humans. My pen pal has been using it for about six months and his latest PET/CT scan shows regression. He has a few friends that are also taking it.
The University patented the combination in 2015, but since it consists of two old drugs that anyone can obtain, they could not find a way to monetize it, and let it lapse, just last month.
The combination is syrosingopine and metformin. Syrosingopine is an old blood pressure drug that is no longer in use, or being produced. Metformin is a drug for diabetics, used to lower blood glucose. Studies show that diabetics taking it show about a 20% less chance of getting cancer.
My friend found a medical/chemical manufacturing company in China to make the syrosingopine, and it’s available through alibaba. Minimum quantity is 1 gram for $1360, which should last three to five months, depending on your dose, so that works out to about $10 a day.
I ordered back in early September, but their production has not caught up with demand. Apparently, they are only making it in five gram batches. Our order just shipped and should be here in a few days. Now we need to find a source for higher dose metformin, as our oncologist is only prescribing a very low dose, not enough to use with the syrosingopine.
So, we are very hopeful. And prayerful. :)
If anyone knows Dr. Tony Evans and his wife, please try to get this information to him before it’s too late. It’s not a quick cure. My friend said it took about three months before he started felling better, and six months for the scans to show regression.

I believe my prayers are always heard. Sometimes they are not answered the way I would like, and sometimes it’s not right away, but it’s always for the best and always on time even when I don’t realize it. 35 years ago I prayed that the President of the US would move the Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Ronald Reagan was president at the time, and I loved him, but this was something that he did not do.
Then, Donald Trump did it within the first year of his Presidency. I know this may not mean a whole lot to many people, but it happened to be “a thing” for me.
I have gone through some tremendous traumatic stuff, and at the time, could not understand why God would allow such things to happen. Then, sometimes YEARS later, something occurs that I am able to achieve victory, primarily because of that trauma that happened years before. It is very weird. At my advanced age, looking back, I see many instances of answered prayer that I did not see at the time they were taking place. Perhaps it is the way we look at events, rather than the events themselves that are answers to prayer. As Jesus said “The rain falls on the just and the unjust.” It is our choice whether we react with disgust at getting soaked, or choose to dance in the rain.
Lois Evans is a Believer, and may view her terminal illness as a door to Eternal Joy in Heaven with Christ. I will pray for her healing as long as she is with us. God may choose to take her home though. But she has touched many people in her lifetime and has prayed for many others. So it is now our turn to pray for her.
There are new “Prayer Threads” every day on FR. I always respond with a prayer, even if it is a FReeper with whom I have had “words” with in the past.
Sometimes we get reports of answered prayer, and sometimes not. But I will never turn down a request.

We have a healing prayer service in our church. One man who had a stroke, heart problem and other medical issues came one evening. Hands and prayers were laid on him. Every medical problem healed!!! His testimony is amazing and he is amazed at what happened.
In one month I had two events with my left hand. One a burn from lifting a pan that had been in the oven. Husband prayed over my hand with me and instantly pain left. Blisters that were under the skin several layers never came to the top and went away. Within a few days all evidence of severe burn gone!! AMEN. Couple of weeks later left fingernails were slammed in a window in our old home. Blood and bruises under the nails. The throbbing was so intense I was almost passing out. We prayed over this while hand elevated with ice. In a minute ALL THROBBING left!! The healing and bruising took some time to heal but no pain and they healed without injury to nails.
About a year ago my vision went fuzzy where I could not drive or read anything. Went to Bible Study. Preacher happened to start with another chapter in another book...Matthew that talked about all the healings Jesus did. My friend next to me began praying in the Spirit. Short time later I could read my Bible and it went away forever!!!! Even more a miracle that day, I usually have to have +1’s...I could read with NO glasses!
What we’ve learned, if you don’t ask for healing from those that will lay hands on you and have faith Jesus does miracles, they might not happen. Read about healings. Call prayer lines like 700 Club. Never give up as Satan wants us to and we are children of the Most High God!

While sleeping I prayed you will find healing and a healing prayer group. I have one more story to share. My husband and I were invited to a Friday night event at a non-denominational church. We went for the speaker. We had no idea that they have a regular service beforehand so there was praise music for about 30 minutes and then...a prayer time. They called over the microphone for certain things. My husband went up when they called for a shoulder injury for healing. Well, he was up there for almost 10 minutes. Around five minutes they asked how it was and I saw him move it without wincing but he told them it was 50% better and they said, we must pray more you are to be healed! Well, he was healed that night. The next day he went out and hammered a few nails which he could not do for weeks before and had no pain. It is very humbling and you can do nothing but praise God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit for answered prayer.
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May His face shine upon you and be gracious unto you. May He look down upon you and grant you peace. Light of all lights, take darkness from 353FMG’s spirit, soul and body and replace it with Your completeness that you are. Praise God from whom ALL BLESSINGS FLOW! Amen.

I can absolutely agree with every word, based on the terrible challenges I've experienced in my long life—and their eventual resolution where God mysteriously arranged to use every awful thing for something good later on; and I encourage you, 353FMG, to "pray believing." Suspend disbelief and pray with an open mind that there really could be a God who loves you and hears your prayer.
As "left that other site" has written, His answer may not be what you expected or when you expected it; but He is God, and His ways are bigger and more complex than any human can imagine. So relax and trust in Him, giving all your life into His care. Ask for what you want, and be content with what He gives you. It will all make sense farther along.
