Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, His body, and since we have a great Priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.
Hebrews 10:19-23

Heavenly Father God, Lord, we thank You for the blessings, the mercy, and the tribulations poured upon our lives. We thank You for our daily walk, that we may be vessels of Your Holy Spirit. We thank You for the invitation to appeal directly to You, in obedience to You, and in the name of our Lord and Savior, Christ the King. We thank You for opportunity to serve You, to love You and to worship You. We thank You for Your perfect Word, that is Truth. We especially thank You for Your Son, Jesus Christ, the Holy Lamb of God.

Dear Lord, if it be Your Will, we ask favor, that Your servants President Trump, Vice President Pence, and the patriots in Washington DC may receive a God sized miracle as they endeavor to drain the swamp. This swamp that is corruption, wickedness, deceit and brokenness, threatens the liberty and the soul of this nation. This swamp is an enemy of Your people and an abomination to our Lord. Oh, Father God, we request Your favor, to provide wisdom, opportunity, strategy and strong angels to engineer draining the swamp. May our capital no longer be covered in the murky and putrid water that is unbridled sin, but may it be refreshed by sweet and crystal-clear Living Water.

Oh Lord, let us repent as a nation, and let us celebrate victory in You. We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God.

Amen to your beautiful prayer.

As believers pray and contend for the president and those who serve in office, there is a command coming out of heaven. It is the same decree that King David prophesied in his own nation concerning the coming Messiah:

The Lord says to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool.” The Lord sends forth from Zion your mighty scepter. Rule in the midst of your enemies! (Psalm 110:1b-2 ESV, emphasis added)

This is the righteous decree that must come forth in this hour and the posture of heart that must be taken by those who lead. Even as Christ demonstrated His kingdom authority within a rebellious system, so we are called as emissaries of a higher order. We cannot wait for our enemies to leave or dissipate. We cannot hold back in hoping for some greater opportunity in the future. Our Lord has issued His decree and we must come into agreement. It is while we are right in the middle of enemy territory that we are called to rule!

RULE IN THE MIDST OF YOUR ENEMIES! Do not waver or back down! Stand in the face of opposition, knowing that all of heaven is with you (Ephesians 6:13)!

Heavenly Father, Grant us the strength to stand in Jesus Name AMEN.
