So it must have been quite a shock to his viewers – many of whom, perhaps, have supported his ministry for years by sending him money – to hear him say earlier this week:
Hinn: "… I'm sorry to say that prosperity has gone a little crazy – and I'm correcting my own theology …. And I will tell you now something that is going to shock you: I think it's an offense to the Lord, it's an offense to say give a thousand dollars. I think it's an offense to the Holy Spirit to place a price on the gospel. I'm done with it. I will never again ask you to give a thousand [dollars] or whatever amount because I think the Holy Ghost is just fed up with it."
Christian apologist and author Dr. Alex McFarland calls Hinn's decision "an amazing theological turn by one of the leaders of the Charismatic movement, televangelism and the prosperity gospel for several decades."

So Benny Hinn is converting to Christianity?
Yes his nephew has written a book telling the truth about the goings on. He left them and spoke at our church inTX recently. Nephew Conti Hinn is a Christian now. Wondering if the nephew has influenced his uncle.

I was talking about Benny Hinn. Not Armstrong. Armstrong was not a fake faith healer, to my knowledge.
I don’t know much about Armstrong, but I do know he is nothing compared to Hinn.

I have a friend whose grandson was hit by a car and suffered a detached eye and brain damage. The little brother insisted his brother would be healed at a Benny Hinn crusade, so the grandmother, the mother and her two sons went to a crusade in Iowa. They sat on the second row.
Benny Hinn had a Word of Knowledge during his sermon. He said someone is being healed of an eye condition. The boy's eye snapped into place. Then later in the service he was also healed of the brain injury.
In fact the Holy Spirit touch every member of the family. My friend was healed of a back injury, the little brother was healed of a heart murmur, and the mother became a poet.
I saw my friend the other day and asked if her family was still healed. She smiled and said, "Yes."
God is a giver of gifts. He doesn't take them away. A good example is Samson, who did not live up to the standard of a Nazarite, but still regained his strength when his hair grew back.
How about O.L. Jaggers, Billy James Hargis, Oral Roberts, A. A. Allen, Kenneth E. Hagin, Rex Humbug, er, Humbard, and Gene Scott.

I know the family. I prayed for the boy when he was hit by the car and rejoiced when he was healed.
Then you are being lied to.
I’m sorry and I have no fear of this being a false accusation.
In fact if true, you and Hinn and your friends are all hugely remiss in not documenting and validating these healings.
Imagine if shams like Hinn really did heal people.

These charlatans believe that Jesus of Nazareth died on the cross in such a painful way so that those televangelists can have their Millions as well as private jets, limos, boats and mansions. This is exactly what they believe.
Truly disgusting to any normal person and yet there is no argument that the name of Jesus and the individual person’s faith can heal. So they just use it to their advantage.

We ALL know that loose change is nothing....
I played that game of dumping my pockets into the jar every night - I did sort of force the issue, NEVER used change on the outside - and that money does add up rather quickly.
I never said I was a proponent of BENNY HINN. I just relayed an account of a healing that happened during one of his crusades.
The healing were documented by their doctor.
I feel sorry for you. God is in the miracle business.
