So it must have been quite a shock to his viewers many of whom, perhaps, have supported his ministry for years by sending him money to hear him say earlier this week:
Hinn: " I'm sorry to say that prosperity has gone a little crazy and I'm correcting my own theology . And I will tell you now something that is going to shock you: I think it's an offense to the Lord, it's an offense to say give a thousand dollars. I think it's an offense to the Holy Spirit to place a price on the gospel. I'm done with it. I will never again ask you to give a thousand [dollars] or whatever amount because I think the Holy Ghost is just fed up with it."
Christian apologist and author Dr. Alex McFarland calls Hinn's decision "an amazing theological turn by one of the leaders of the Charismatic movement, televangelism and the prosperity gospel for several decades."

He needs to publicly repent & give his $millions$ away to legitimate Christian Organizations if he's for real.
Interesting. Thanks for posting.
Anyone here recall Herbert W Armstrong and ‘The World Tomorrow ‘?
Dude was funny ... especially when he patted the little old bald guy on the head ...
Anyone here recall Herbert W Armstrong and The World Tomorrow ?
Now theres a man I havent thought of in decades. I listened to him on occasion.
Yeah, right. His net worth is only 43 million dollars. Nope. This is another gimme gimmick ........just wait........ what, did he suddenly get a terminal diagnosis or something and hes scared cuz hes known hes deceived millions for too long? What? 40.....50....60 years?
Just so long as he doesnt stop playing Yakety Sax.

No need to hope and trust. If he is sincere, The Holy Spirit will correct his behavior and his theology. We can support him with prayer.
Heard of him, but I don’t know anything about him. Listening now...
Armstrong was part of the British-Israel cult. Not a Christian, although he kept telling people to read the Bible.
Almost sounds like, I got my money, Im retiring, Im not giving any away. Very convenient.
I thought it was his son, Garner Ted Armstrong that was the one who did that.
I recall his horndog son,Garner Ted Armstrong. It was hard to miss the guy. He was everywhere on radio and TV.
Is he on YouTube?
“I am correcting my on Theology”
Can you imagine the Apostle saying the above. Paul gave all credit and honor to God. I listened to the video. It is still all about “me” and “I”.
Maybe my ears are too critical.
Sounds like he’s getting on the right track. Most of the money preachers never do.
