I once considered myself a Catholic. I can no longer say this. I did not leave my church, it left me.
The pope, no longer my pope, is simply a political activist and I suspect quasi Marxist if not full Marxist. He is destroying my former church.
The real corruption in my former church is the College of Cardinals that put this vile pope in his position. The pope is merely an expression of the College of Cardinals. That is where the real corruption of my once great church lays.
Sexual abuse is rampant in my former church at the level of the college of cardinals. It is mostly homosexual but some is not. It has become corrupt.
Oddly most in the College of Cardinals are pious men of worth. I do not understand why they do not speak out about the corruption in my former church. A very few do. They are the exception.
My former church is in danger. It may become part of the dust bin of history. I hope this does not happen.
This will be short: Why don’t Catholics skip the middle man and interact directly with God?
You can’t trust any man more than you can trust God.
And if the notion is that a pope speaks for God, and in some way magically becomes God-like, all you have to do is consider THIS pope to know it’s not true.
