This is the official ping list for Depths of Pentecost: Im a Christian blogger who writes weekly Bible lessons. Topics range from Bible studies, apologetics, theology, history, and occasionally current events. Every now and then I upload sermons or classes onto YouTube.
Let me know if youd like to added to the Depths of Pentecost ping list. New posts are up every Saturday, videos every Wednesday.
Seems pointless to ask the question, given that the only person qualified to make the judgment is God himself.
The word comes through humans and humans make mistakes.
When placed upon a blog... yes. Absolutely.
A satanic question. SAME thing the serpent said to Eve to throw her off.
What does Jesus and Scripture itself say, by the Holy Spirit?
“Your word is truth” John 17:17, and “no lie is of the truth” 1 John 2:21.
2 Tim 3:16
Indeed and a beautiful summation of the infallibility of Gods Word here:

The underlying error in this question is the equating “Word of God” with the Bible. The Bible is man’s recording of the Word of God. Man is prone to errors and miss the intent of God’s word.
If there are any errors, they are PERFECT errors.
Think! IF satan had a nose under the tent he would use it against those God loves. An error in The Word of God would suffice as satan’s nose under the tent.
“I do believe that the Bible is the infallible, authoritative Word of God.”
I see no evidence in Scripture supporting this statement.
Scripture is extremely clear that Jesus is the Word of God. Yes.
But I just can’t find any support for the idea that the *Bible* is “the Word of God.” Any thoughts?
Can a CNN propagandist’s words contain errors?
They don’t believe so.
Translation errors from Hebrew to Greek to english.
My understanding is the Greek word for camel is very similar to the Greek word for rope, as in , it’s easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle
Individuals can perceive the same object or event, but depending on their different context of knowledge or their differing ability and effort to conceptualize, they might make different identifications and interpretations of what they have perceived. They might have different maps of the same territory.
Before suspecting error in Scripture, check your ego and examine your understanding.
😂
May be the truest thing I've ever seen you post humblegunner.
You mean our Scripture wasn’t handed down on golden plates which only one man could see?
...And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. 8But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. —Genesis 6
My personal belief is that there is no error where we hear Jesus. There is no error where we hear the ones HIS SPIRIT appointed to speak.
