People on Twitter are calling out President Donald Trump for failing to recite the Apostles Creed at the funeral for former President George H. W. Bush on Wednesday.
Footage from the event shows much of the church, including the former presidents seated with Trump, standing to recite the profession of faith.

And because HuffPo folks are all very religious, they thought this was much more serious than Dorkbama the Muslim eunuch quota cretin not showing the respect to the flag, or not waring one on his lapel.
Shove it, Huffpo. Up your Obamahole.
Repeatedly.
If President Trump wanted to get the Fake News to discus the tenants of Christianity, how could he possibly do that? Master Troll of the Universe!!
I wouldn’t know it.
So let me get this straight....
The atheists at the Huffington Post are upset that Trump didn’t recite a prayer?
IIRC, the Roman Catholic Churchs version says ... One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church
It’s probably that he hasn’t recited it since he was a kid. I don’t think we need to go to the decoder ring for this one.
.
The “Apostles Creed is Satan’s Creed!
It is the creed of the nicolaitans, and nowhere to be found in the scriptures.
Go Trump!
Oops, wearing, not waring. Have to hold off the grammar/spelling Nazis.
I beg to differ. More like the Church of Jesus as passed on through the apostles ... as he commanded them to do.
And if he DID recite it he’d be called a religious nut by the same people.
“Free” churches err seriously by NOT confessing this and the other historic creeds.
“Protestant” churches including C of E and Episcopalian DO confess the creeds.
The word “catholic” in the creed means “universal,” not Roman.
Many recent printings dubiously substitute “Christian” for catholic, in a reactionary move against ignorance, where people fear they are confessing an acceptance of the Roman church.
There you go.
Notice that the Apostles Creed does not have the phrase Roman Catholic Church. Catholic Church is used in the sense of the general Church of all believers even those who feel they are mutually exclusive within the Roman Rite
Trump is in line with Bible teaching:
Matthew 6:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
TOO MUCH MINDLESS REPETITION in too many Churches.
I dont get why he and Melanie didnt read it from the program.

I keep searching my Bible... I can’t seem to find the apostle’s creed mentioned anywhere...
We say it every Sunday at the Presbyterian church
Why should he? They ain’t Catholic...................
So?
