It was Jesus who appeared to Thomas. Jesus is a man, and Thomas recognized him. Therefore Jesus retained his gender after his resurrection. Furthermore, Jesus retained his crucifixion wounds further demonstrating he retained his physical characteristics.
So, we conclude that we will retain our gender when we are resurrected in our new glorified bodies and go to heaven. But, as I said at the beginning of this article, we will not be married nor will he have any need of procreation.
But, some might ask how this is possible since the Bible says...
"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus," (Galatians 3:28).
This verse is not saying there will not be male and female genders in heaven. It is saying that "in Christ" there is neither male nor female. "In Christ" designates representation and salvation. Gal. 3:28 is saying that when it comes to salvation, gender does not matter...

Well there sure as hell won’t be “63 genders.”
Will there be beer?
But as for the main question, Genesis 1:27 says "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."
Maybe there is a much bigger game than we know...
Earth is where new souls are formed and shaped. The ones who make the cut are kicked up to the next level. That’s when you find out what the real game is all about.
Angels have bodies just like ours (though they aren’t subject to the laws of sin & decay of this world).
What does the Bible say about angels?

Luke 22:17-18 And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He said, "Take this and share it among yourselves; for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until the kingdom of God comes."
“Probably, there will be wine.”
How about Wild Turkey 101 proof?
Fine, but while we are here on Earth, I don’t want a biological male to have access to bathrooms reserved for biological females.
I think this needs further explanation. Jesus retained those woulds for a purpose. If you die, manged in a car wreck, I'm pretty sure God does not intend for you to be that way in your glorified form.
Jesus said there is no marriage in heaven
That’s why it’s called heaven.............
Rum. My heaven will have rum, or it’s not heaven.
And dogs...
“Angels have bodies just like ours (though they arent subject to the laws of sin & decay of this world).”
The link you referenced https://www.gotquestions.org/angels-Bible.html says
“Angels are spirit beings (Hebrews 1:14) without true physical bodies. Although they do not have physical bodies, they are still personalities.”
I believe Jesus when he says "I am the Way, the Truth and the Light. No one comes to the Father except through me."
That's how to 'make the cut.'
That’s an interesting point.
I believe He retains those wounds as a crown of His accomplishment and promise for salvation of His people. It’s also to show that only He is Lord, and only He can save. The perfect man, fully God, fully Man, capable of saving humans from themselves.
Spurgeon’s thoughts on the matter:

There must be dogs, cats and birds. If not, I’ll try to buy a return ticket.
Oh, and horses, and deer...
Whatever is on tap or the shelves behind the bar is okay by me as long as it’s where all the dogs are.
aw heck. You mean I can’t look up Cary Grant and ask him to marry me?
Yes I realize that. I was trying to provide perspective because some folks believe we turn into angels when we go to be with the Lord. I think we have a different destiny than angels and that angels do have bodies.
There are about a dozen (probably more) interactions between angels and men in the Bible where the human cannot discern if they are an Angel or not - in other words, they had physical bodies.
Lot, Daniel, Zechariah (John the Baptist’s Father), Mary, and a few others all talked with Angels.
There’s also the Nephilim interaction with the daughters of men where a theory (which I do believe) states these Nephilim were fallen angels and had intercourse with human women to produce giants before the flood of Noah (which destroyed them all). Genesis 6:1-4
I’d say they have to have bodies - my humble opinion.
Hebrews 13:2 gives a similar perspective on their form (at least on Earth).
