And now LORD, we bring into remembrance our National Heroes, those who fought against the evil this day remembers, by fighting for our brothers, sons, daughters, wives, and homes, many sacrificing their own lives in this behalf. May their memory be blessed, their families find comfort in the love and respect we as citizens have for them, and may our beloved heroes over seas, in our streets, and among our lives, be protected from any further evil the enemies of our Nation and our God would try to inflict upon them as they lay down their lives for us each day.
We pray for our President LORD. Many a battle this man faces in the realms of both Spiritual and Political. LORD, Grant him a quiet, humble yet powerful spirit, that he may hear YOUR VOICE, follow YOUR LEAD, and direct our Country in the way we should go. LORD, we pray for our upcoming elections. This battle is YOURS, for our Country is being war torn from the inside out, and our families need YOUR HAND OF MERCY AND GRACE as we see so many peoples lives being subjected to the onslaught of injustice and hatred among people in power. We ask this from Nehemiah 4:15: When our enemies heard that we were aware of their scheme and that God had frustrated it, each of us returned to his own work . . . may we work hard to bring America back to GOD.
LORD GOD, this is a day of remembrance, in so many ways. May we lift up our hearts, our prayers and our lives to YOU as our only HOPE and our GREATEST SUPPLY of LOVE AND GRACE, as we are joined together today. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.
Amen

Psalm 49
To the leader. Of the Korahites. A Psalm.
1 Hear this, all you peoples;
give ear, all inhabitants of the world,
2 both low and high,
rich and poor together.
3 My mouth shall speak wisdom;
the meditation of my heart shall be understanding.
4 I will incline my ear to a proverb;
I will solve my riddle to the music of the harp.
5 Why should I fear in times of trouble,
when the iniquity of my persecutors surrounds me,
6 those who trust in their wealth
and boast of the abundance of their riches?
7 Truly, no ransom avails for ones life,*
there is no price one can give to God for it.
8 For the ransom of life is costly,
and can never suffice,
9 that one should live on for ever
and never see the grave.*
10 When we look at the wise, they die;
fool and dolt perish together
and leave their wealth to others.
11 Their graves* are their homes for ever,
their dwelling-places to all generations,
though they named lands their own.
12 Mortals cannot abide in their pomp;
they are like the animals that perish.
13 Such is the fate of the foolhardy,
the end of those* who are pleased with their lot.
Selah
14 Like sheep they are appointed for Sheol;
Death shall be their shepherd;
straight to the grave they descend,*
and their form shall waste away;
Sheol shall be their home.*
15 But God will ransom my soul from the power of Sheol,
for he will receive me.
Selah
16 Do not be afraid when some become rich,
when the wealth of their houses increases.
17 For when they die they will carry nothing away;
their wealth will not go down after them.
18 Though in their lifetime they count themselves happy
for you are praised when you do well for yourself
19 they* will go to the company of their ancestors,
who will never again see the light.
20 Mortals cannot abide in their pomp;
they are like the animals that perish.
Amen.
Amen, Jeanbl
Joining in prayer for our beloved America.
Great quote from Nehemiah 4:15. And Nehemiah was a wall builder, to keep his people safe.
Difficult day of remembrance. But may September 11 bring us nearer to God. And may revival spark in our hearts and blanket our land with healing.
Lifting up our president as he’s under relentless attacks. Most egregious are the betrayals within the administration. May those betrayals be exposed and plots frustrated.
In Jesus Name

FATHER GOD,
Bring remembrance of NEHEMIAH'S courage and tenacity to withstand enemy threats and opposition as he rebuilt the walls of JERUSALEM. May our leaders follow his example and seek Your face to rebuild AMERICA from the inside out. LORD, send revival. Restore our families, churches, businesses, schools, media, military, and government. Only YOU can save America. Restore the FOUNDATIONS of our nation. In GOD we place our trust.
In JESUS' Name we pray. Amen.
Amen!
My computer wallpaper is similar to the opening picture of the twin towers at the start of this thread. I see the pic every day, but seeing the thread pic today really hit me. 911 — a day to remember.
Lord, please watch over us all -— our country, our president and Vice President and all those who need you. Amen.
AMEN!!
I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!
3 For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.
4 [Then] He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day,
6 Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you.
8 Only a spectator shall you be [yourself inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High] as you witness the reward of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place,
Amen and thank you for posting this moving Prayer.
AMEN!
Amen to Each and Every Powerful Word of your Beautiful Prayer, Dear Jeanbl.
Praying with you in Heartfelt Agreement.
