President Trump's speech to the U.N. yesterday was excellent in every way! Very bold, very to the point and very instructional. When viewed in the light of a secular perspective it was what this evil world needed to hear and needs to apply to seek a "somewhat less" lawless worldly "peace" in such difficult days. However, such secular truths and worldly optimism cannot be sustained by the EXPONENTIAL global weight of lawlessness throughout our world today. Trump's speech to the nations of the world is really - from a secular point of view - a last call for change and repentance; and to slow down the world's violent and lawless EXPONENTIAL tendencies before the world of today totally implodes. From a Biblical perspective, we are at the very crossroads of global implosion as a world governed by lawless men. Without the littlest of change globally the Day of the Lord will commence and the Four Horsemen will ride (Rev. 6)

So did I. Sucks. On the bright side, I can put off the oil change this weekend.
Can you show me a verse that says the tribulation is 7 years? From my reading, Jesus said the tribulation would begin when the sacrifice was stopped and would end with his coming.
This is the verse that initially specifies the final 7 year period:
DAN9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

This is the period Jesus refers to in the Olivet Discourse :
MAT24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. MAT24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) MAT24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: MAT24:17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: MAT24:18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

Hope that helps.
There are things happening that certainly appear to be biblical. Wars and rumors of wars. Hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, fires.
President Trump openly prays. All his rallies are opened with an invocation. He has refer to “The One True God” or the “Creator”, numerous times.
Yesterday, during his speech, he mentioned an unveiling, rebuked evil by name and closed by reminding the entire world body of our Creator.
Apocalypse is an ancient Greek word which means an unveiling or a revelation.
President Trump faced a 99% chance of losing both the primary and general elections.
He has been a champion of Israel. Israel is working with the gulf states to defeat islamic extremism. The middle East countries have openly recognised President Trump’s ability to do the impossible.
The confidence he displays, against everything being thrown at him, would destroy any person.
I am convinced God has answered our prayers.
Thanks for responding. From my reading, the covenant, or agreement is 7 years, not the tribulation. The tribulation begins in the middle of the 7 year covenant according to these verses and Matthew 24:29-30 says it ends when Jesus arrives.
As Dan 9:27 says, the tribulation starts when the sacrifices are ended. This happened in 135AD. What am I missing? Again, thanks for responding.
The word “sacrifices” was added by the English translators. The Hebrew refers to “the daily”. We are interpreting that to mean the people who pray daily, “Give us today our daily bread.”
I always thought that “our daily bread” referred to the Holy Eucharist.
That is the longest exegetical stretch I have ever seen. Even the cults don’t stretch that far!
