P.S. "confirming the covenant with many" is most likely the sealing of the 144,000. Who would accept a peace deal that had a time limit on it? Also, the Two Witnesses show up 10 days afterwards, and preach for 1260 days. They are killed 20 days before the AtcD giving them time to lay in the streets for 3.5 days. My reading is that when they are raised up, the reaping of the Tribulation Saints (Rev 14:12-17; 15:2-4) takes place, since it says they are taken out of Great Tribulation (Rev 7:9-17).

Can you show me a verse that says the tribulation is 7 years? From my reading, Jesus said the tribulation would begin when the sacrifice was stopped and would end with his coming.

The 144,000 (12,000 from each of the tribes of Israel) are virgin males which accompany the Lamb wherever he goes.

4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. (Revelation 14:4)

So, if these are already on the Earth, then the Son of Man has returned, raptured his own, and begun to pour out his wrath (Seven trumpets, seven vials) on the Earth.

Today the Jews' temple has not been rebuilt where the daily sacrifice will resume (an abomination in an of itself, since the Lamb of God has already been sacrificed). So, the daily sacrifice cannot be taken away unless and until the temple is rebuilt. And this is where the anti-christ will stand and declare himself to be God (2 Thessalonians 2:4) and give a justification for ceasing the sacrifice. "Hey, you Messiah is here! You can stop your daily sacrifice."

I do see the future temple rebuilding as the continued rejection of the Lamb of God by the religious Jews. I suspect they will accept the rider on the white horse (Revelation 6:2) as the "Messiah". They didn't recognize Jesus in 33AD. They will choose the "false christ", the antichrist.

I have nothing against the Jews. They need saving like all unbelievers. God has "concluded all in unbelief than he might have mercy on all" (Romans 11:32, Galatians 3:22).
