God of power, through the ministry of your Son Jesus you have freed us from the grip of death. Even in the middle of our struggles and trials, your Spirit calls our hearts to return to you. Jesus unties our burdens and heals our spirits. With your great love for us, you forgive and restore each one of us. Our hope is given through the death and resurrection of your Son. Open our hearts to love others enough to share about the saving actions of Jesus so all people can discover and respond to your call.
We lift up in prayer President Trump and Vice President Pence. Strengthen and renew their courage to persevere even while being attacked with false accusations by the media and shadow government distractions to prevent progress in our government. Give wisdom to President Trump and Vice President Pence. Protect them physically, mentally and spiritually. Help unite all leaders in the Congress to recognize and act responsibly in the leadership positions you have given and entrusted to them. We praise and thank you for our great blessings and ask all this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
