“Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am in distress; my eye is wasted from grief; my soul and my body also. For my life is spent with sorrow, and my years with sighing; my strength fails because of my iniquity, and my bones waste away.”

PRAYER
Almghty God, You are the alpha and Omega. You alone are Holy. We praise you that you are a faithful God. Even in times where acts with the intention to do harm. We know You have not abandoned us. We ask your forgiveness for our lack of commitment when we choose our way. In your mercy, once again forgive each of us.
We fear for the life of our nation. We know our struggle is not against flesh and blood.
Evil is so very organized against President Trump and vice President Pence. Give wisdom and courage to these men that are committed to rebuilding our broken nation.
Give transparency and light to reveal those that hide within the bureaucracy delight to plot, deceive and betray the Trump Administration. Protect the Judicial officials and all the law officers that stand in harms way to enforce our laws and protect the public. Remove the corrupt practice of a free press that purposely and repeatedly distorts the news to deceive the people.
You are God. You are faithful to hear our prayer. Give us your peace knowing that despite what appears to be unbeatable forces of evil, You are God and faithful to hear the cry of your people. We pray and praise your name through Jesus your son, Amen.

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?
Who will bring a charge against Gods elect? God is the one who justifies; who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Just as it is written,
FOR YOUR SAKE WE ARE BEING PUT TO DEATH ALL DAY LONG;
WE WERE CONSIDERED AS SHEEP TO BE SLAUGHTERED.
But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Prayers
Psalm 91
1 You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,*
2 will say to the Lord, My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence;
4 he will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night,
or the arrow that flies by day,
6 or the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
or the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only look with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge,*
the Most High your dwelling-place,
10 no evil shall befall you,
no scourge come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
so that you will not dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder,
the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.
14 Those who love me, I will deliver;
I will protect those who know my name.
15 When they call to me, I will answer them;
I will be with them in trouble,
I will rescue them and honour them.
16 With long life I will satisfy them,
and show them my salvation.
Amen
Father God, draw us nearer to You. Burn away the dross, that we may be filled with Your Holy Spirit.
She would want you to celebrate your birthday, I think. Go buy ONE cupcake and put a candle on it and be grateful for the time you did have your mother. Make a wish, blow out the candle and enjoy the cupcake.
I did that. Too many deaths in my life. I'm the last one so I plan on celebrating life. My family and husband would want me to.
Thank you for the beautiful prayer and music. May you find peace and comfort.
Hugs to you. May our Blessed Savior comfort you in the loss of your mother.
Amen!
