DOCTRINE OF SALVATION BY WORKS
Eph 2:8-10
(8) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
(9) Not of works, lest any man should boast.
(10) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
- Definition.
- Salvation by works is a false doctrine which rejects God's grace policy in the provision of eternal salvation for the human race.
- Salvation by works rejects the total helplessness of mankind under real spiritual death. Real spiritual death not only means separation from God at birth and total depravity, but it also means helplessness to do anything about our status quo.
- Salvation by works makes the distinction between Christianity and religion.
- In Christianity, mankind is eternally saved through the work of God. God the Father planned it, God the Son executed it on the cross, and God the Holy Spirit reveals it.
- However in religion, man seeks to gain the approbation of God through some category of human works, self-sacrifice, personality, or energy of the flesh. Christianity is not a religion. In Christianity, God does the work and man is the beneficiary apart from any merit or any works.
- There are at least seven categories of salvation by works rejected by the Word of God, as in Eph 2:9, "It is not by works."

Your words:”It is a satanic deception to twist this remembrance into a cannibalistic ritual. To do this exposes catholicism as a religion not from God but from antichrist. Catholics follow these heresies at the peril of their immortal souls. “
If you are baptized and express these positions, then you are committing heresy.

>>So you are in a church by yourself.<<
Um, no, I am part of the ekklesia Christ is the head of built by the apostles.
Ephesians 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church (ekklésia), He Himself being the Savior of the body.
The Catholic Church not withstanding it has survived and added many millions. The Catholic Church has tried to replace it but has not been successful. The Catholic Church is simply an imposter.
>>Sorry to hear that you are not baptized.<<
Your string of being wrong is unbroken! I am indeed baptised but not by a fake priest wearing pagan attire.
No go run down you rabbit trails by yourself.

I wondered when the accusations would start.

My prayer for you —and I mean this in all sincerity— is that when The Rapture happens and you are still upon the Earth realizing you were not taken up, that you will fall on your catholic face and ask Jesus to be your savior, then rise up to face the world with a new face not dirtied by Catholicism's heresies, because what you will be facing will be coming hell on Earth, as God's wrath is pored out upon an unbelieving world who considered themselves too good for God in them The Hope of Glory.

Don’t try to threaten me with the nicolaitanization of the current Catholic Church. Jesus is my Lord and Savior. His Spirit lives in me raising this child up in the Way that he should go ... which is in the opposite direction of the heretical catholic church we see in our midst. As Peter said to the haughty Sanhedrin, Whether it is righteous before God to hearken to you rather than to God, judge ye; for we cannot but speak what we did see and hear.

They were in the barn, trying to tear open cardboard boxes.

We have an insistent catholic on this thread who is unable to capture the essence of James regarding works to prove faith. It just shows WHY Catholics, long ago, were so DIVIDED as to whether to even include James in the lexicon at all!

I presume you have a salt block for them? And of course, those little critters can smell the foliage that went into making that cardboard, and you goats will eat nearly anything and everything. Around these parts we have Kudzu. Goats are the cure for Kudzu.

The Eucharist is a true sacrifice,Isaiah 1:11
I have had enough of the burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts [without obedience]; and I do not delight in the blood of bulls or of lambs or of he-goats
...gimme dem wafers and wine instead for a SACRIFICE!
Oh...
...ignore the following...
Hebrews 10:10
And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

There have been epochs through the History of Catholicism when I believe God did use it to bring many into the faith. Not so this nicolaitanized version we witness now leading so many seeking souls astray.

People that wait till the "judgement" to find out, have about a 99.99999% iron clad guarantee, of experiencing the fires of Hell.
Daniel 12:2
Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.
Revelation 20:11-15
And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and THE BOOKS WERE OPENED. Another book was opened WHICH IS THE BOOK OF LIFE.
The dead were judged according to their works as recorded in the books.
The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to their works.

Just that Baptism is required.
Micah 6:8
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
John 6:28-29
Then they asked him, "What must we do to do the works God requires?
Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent."
1 John 3:21-23
Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him.
And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.
James 1:27
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

There have been epochs through the History of Catholicism when I believe God did use it to bring many into the faith. Of COURSE He did!
Also the Mormons, in my thinking.
But once a person gets past all the milk and starts chewing of the meat; then they have a decision to make!
Stay; and deal with the stench of the albatross of extraneous acts wrapped around their necks; or flee to the simplicity that Christ offers to all.

Thank you, brother, for making that addendum to my stumbling explanations. Indeed, the milk should eventually be insufficient to the growing child.
