We have an insistent catholic on this thread who is unable to capture the essence of James regarding works to prove faith. It just shows WHY Catholics, long ago, were so DIVIDED as to whether to even include James in the lexicon at all!

There have been epochs through the History of Catholicism when I believe God did use it to bring many into the faith. Not so this nicolaitanized version we witness now leading so many seeking souls astray.
