The former chief financial officer of Trinity Broadcasting, the nations largest Christian broadcasting network, has filed a lawsuit against her former company and its top bosses for allegedly threatening her with a loaded gun when she objected to unlawful distributions of $100 million to themselves and others.
The lawsuit was filed Jan. 29 by Brittany Koper, the granddaughter of TBN founder Paul Crouch Sr., who died last year, and her husband, Michael Koper, against Trinity Christian Center, International Christian Broadcasting, Matthew Crouch, Janice Crouch and John Casoria.
Brittany Koper was TBNs CFO and treasurer until she was fired in 2011, about the same time her husband, who also worked at the network, was dismissed, the case claims.
Trinity Christian Center, based in Santa Ana, California, operates as Trinity Broadcasting Network, and Janice Crouch, a TBN senior vice president, is the widow of the founder. Her son, Matthew Crouch, is a TBN vice president. Casoria is TBNs lawyer and Janice Crouchs nephew.
The case, filed in U.S. District Court for the southern division of California, alleges Brittany Koper was wrongfully dismissed in violation of the public policies of the state of California and of the United States of America.
Plaintiffs allege that such terminations were in retaliation for (a) plaintiffs refusal to participate in conduct within defendant Trinity Broadcasting made unlawful by the laws of California and the United States and (b) reporting such unlawful conduct to defendant Trinity Broadcastings president, board of directors, to senior executive defendant John Casoria, and to defendant Trinity Broadcastings IRS auditor.
The filing alleges Brittany Koper was told she would need to participate in numerous illegal schemes that involved the systematic diversion of defendant Trinity Broadcastings charitable assets through unlawful distributions to defendant Trinity Broadcastings directors through numerous channels.

Hmmm Is it all about money with them?
Interesting.
The one I feel sorry for in all this is God.
He shouldn’t have to put up with this crap.
TBN Keeping Secrets, Does Not Disclose Conflict of Interest Policy
Thanks for posting this.
First, since this is from WND, a big grain of salt is required.
Second, since the person making the claim was fired from her job by her own relatives, the motives for these statements have to be judged critically.
Third, if the claims are found to be true, it would not be the first time that someone started out to do a work for God, only to later be corrupted by power and money. I can think of a number of examples in the Bible as well as in both the evangelical and Catholic worlds that testify to that common human failing.
Finally, even if the claims are true, that does not lessen or change the truth of the Gospel. If the truth of the Gospel were dependent upon the behavior of Christians, we would all be lost.
Is she that 80 something that dresses like an 18yo?
Interesting...Discredited...
But not in jail.
I wonder where or how they were discredited?

God IS in charge and He has already specified that He is not going to put up with anything. . .I understand your sentiments. . .it is so frustrating to see our country going down the tubes. I am enjoying Freeper “left that other site’s” “Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem’s” posts. She includes stories/characters, from the Bible in each post plus wonderful pictures. It is a blessing to read each day. But it is very descriptive of what happens to those who go against Him. God has given us a timeline (as in watch for the signs) as well as a pretty good description of the events to come for those who do not believe in Jesus as Savior. Prepare!
I am thankful for much of the TBN’s programming i.e. The Church Channel. God will take what is meant for evil and turn it to good.
We also have to remember the people who are now going to live an eternity in heaven because of watching some of the programs.
Satan knows his time is limited and is pulling out the stops not only toward TV Evangelism but churches, families, government, etc. I am so thankful for Free Republic. Will be donating today.
Fired for what?
The soundness and veracity of these stories are completely undermined when you realize that they depend almost exclusively upon accusations from individuals who admitted they had embezzled and misappropriated over $1 million from the network, and its companion ministry, International Christian Broadcasting, Mays statement said.
I would think if she were "discredited" for embezzling $1 mil, she'd be in jail right now. I see no discredit.
Money is the god of this world.
I have to wonder where they got $100 million?
Are there that many fools out there?
Does the house next door look like the house above?
It should, they own both.
Sing with me now!! “hair hatted hooligan, acting like a fool-again........”
oh and by the way gamecock is this a “mega church”???
Right now, you have her making unproven allegations against her employer, and her employer making allegations against her. Thus proving my point that in cases like this, you need to be very critical in examining the claims on BOTH sides, and not accept either at face value.
You may see no "discredit", but there is no reason to credit either account at this point. Let the legal process play out, and maybe some actual evidence will be presented.
So it is her ... she’s weird.
