From the article:
The Catholic Charismatic Renewal is a popular international movement within the Catholic Church which centers on the Holy Spirit, and is often known for its outside-of-Mass worship, such as faith healings and speaking in tongues. In an interview with ZENIT, Martinez said the Holy Father enthusiastically agreed to participate in this event.

Another Roman Catholic denomination! Indeed more cause for division:
There is nothing Orthodox about the charismatic movement. It is incompatible with Orthodoxy, in that it justifies itself only by perverting the message of the Fathers, suggesting that the Church of Christ needs renewal, and indulging in the theological imagery of, Pentecostal cultism. With such things, one cannot be too bold in his language of condemnation and reprobation. - http://orthodoxinfo.com/inquirers/charmov.aspx

Thousand Roman Denominations Placemarker...
...how many charismatic rites are there?????
... if a charismatic prays to Mary in tongues, does she hear it, understand it, turn around and intercede in tongues to prevail on her Son?
... wow, healings too! Just think of all the miracles that will occur that can produce more “saints.”

The theme of the event, comprising prayer, testimonies, and dialogue, is Repent! Believe! Receive the Holy Spirit!.
LOOK! THE HOLY SPIRIT!*
*For those of you who may not be aware, in art and much of church architecture a white dove represents the Holy Spirit

There is one problem. The word “orthodox” cannot be used at this time, in use by the Eastern Churches. Use the “conservative” or “traditional” instead.
