From FNC (where there is also video):
Boys and girls at Grace Academy in Prosper, Tex., spent most of last Friday making homemade Christmas cards for bedridden veterans at the VA hospital in Dallas. Fourth-grader Gracie Brown was especially proud of her card, hoping it would make their day because their family might live far away, and they might not have somebody to celebrate Christmas with. Id like them to know theyve not been forgotten and somebody wanted to say thank you, Gracie told Gracies card read, Merry Christmas. Thank you for your service. It also included an American flag. But the bedridden veterans at the VA hospital will never get to see Gracies card. Nor will they see the cards made by 51 other students. [Get this...] Thats because the Christmas cards violated VA policy. It really didnt occur to me there would be a problem with distributing Christmas cards, said Susan Chapman, a math teacher at the academy. [Nor would most normal people think that children's cards for Christmas were double-plus-ungood in the eyes of the Obama Administration.]

If people ever wake up to the true nature of Democrats, they will do more than throw them out of office.
These are some sick people.
Is the liberal media censoring coverage of the thousands of outraged Christian protests?
If these Christmas cards are not appreciated or welcome by the VA, I strongly suggest the the children turn their efforts locally to the elderly in convalescent facilities or retirement homes. Let the VA explain to the soldiers that no Christmas cards are coming.
When I remember the beautiful outpourings that characterized Christmas at Walter Reed before they closed the old base and consolidated CommieCare of our wounded, I am horrified. There were decorations, several tall trees, huge gingerbread castles, and one year the Waterford crystal factory in Ireland that makes our New Year’s Ball for Times Square sent a 7 foot crystal chandelier that looked like a Christmas tree when set up in the lobby of one of the recovery residences. Every year, three tour busloads of NYC firemen and their family members came down to DC to visit the wounded — two buses for the people, and one bus full of gifts. One year they also brought a children’s carol choir with them.
The fact is, there are only a miniscule number of troops who do not recognize Christmas as a national holiday for merrymaking — chiefly a handful of muslim interpreters who were born in the U.S. and served our country, and presumably the inevitable few atheists. Try as I might, having been raised in a Jewish neighborhood and always enjoying the company of Jews, I cannot remember meeting any Jewish troops in the current (non-draft) corps that we met in the 7 years the DCChapter volunteers served at Walter Reed, and there is nothing wrong with that, either. So where is the animus towards Christianity coming from? From the White House and Pentagon.
This is so sad.
Behold, My servant will prosper,
He will be high and lifted up and greatly exalted.
Just as many were astonished at you, My people,
So His appearance was marred more than any man
And His form more than the sons of men.
Thus He will sprinkle many nations,
Kings will shut their mouths on account of Him;
For what had not been told them they will see,
And what they had not heard they will understand.
I doubt it because the voters are in a big part the democratic party.
Elections have consequences. Obamagabe is a Christian-hating marxist.
Thank you for the shout out.
And yes the Silver Star Families of America is already on this. I will post our letter to the Secretary.

Well said, Albion....
Texas ping to an outrage!
The world has gone mad-—I’m convinced of it!
Saw this on the news last night. The school should put the cards on a youtube for the vets to see.
I hope you had a merry Christmas and have a happy new year.
My son is based near where most of it happens now, and I assure you, he's no Communist. But you're quite right in that he describes the troops with which he serves as quite conservative indeed, both politically and in terms of their Christmas traditions.
