Pope Francis on Sunday urged Christians and Muslims to promote mutual respect , especially through the education of new generations. His remarks came at the end of his Angelus address when he sent greetings to Muslims throughout the world who have just celebrated the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.

This is the mark of an unbeliever, one who does nto believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to make any concession of truth to a false religion, regardless of it’s threats of violence.
This Pope is not a Christian.
You can't have a New World Religion without doing such things.
This Pope is not a Christian.
This. Was his speech mistranslated or something? Cannot believe he would go that far.

Last thing I want to do is be near someone who is religiously sworn to kill me.
Ping for later

Pope sends message to Muslims to wish them for the end of Ramadan
08/ 2/2013
“But Francis wanted to give his message a more personal touch as a sign of special attention to his Muslim brothers, so he signed it in person: This year, the first of my Pontificate, I have decided to sign this traditional message myself and to send it to you, dear friends, as an expression of esteem and friendship for all Muslims, especially those who are religious leaders, the Pope wrote.”

He’s delusional if he thinks he’s going to change the subhuman, murderous muslim/islamic filth, from what they have been, are now, and always will be. They need to be annihilated, not befriended.
As soon as it is mutual then I will Pope Francis. I think you are awesome but if you think that the Muslims are going to play nice, there is no way.
Can’t we just get along? said the frog to the scorpion perched on his back.
Like the frog, the Poppa is delusional if he really believes that.
This pope must be a dope. Respecting a false religion is absurd. What is this guy thinking?
Why would a Christian make such a statement? and as the muslims certainly dont veiw him as any sort of an authority his statement made in conjunction with the end of rama dama ding dong, a death cult “holiday” meant nothing to ANYONE..but One Worlders

The Pope is saying nothing more than has been said in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, 841: “The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind’s judge on the last day.”
Also in Lumen Gentium, section 16 (1964): “But the plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator. In the first place amongst these there are the Mohamedans, who, professing to hold the faith of Abraham, along with us adore the one and merciful God, who on the last day will judge mankind.”
And Nostra Aetate, section 3 (1965): “The Church regards with esteem also the Moslems. They adore the one God, living and subsisting in Himself; merciful and all-powerful, the Creator of heaven and earth, who has spoken to men; they take pains to submit wholeheartedly to even His inscrutable decrees, just as Abraham, with whom the faith of Islam takes pleasure in linking itself, submitted to God. Though they do not acknowledge Jesus as God, they revere Him as a prophet. They also honor Mary, His virgin Mother; at times they even call on her with devotion. In addition, they await the day of judgment when God will render their deserts to all those who have been raised up from the dead. Finally, they value the moral life and worship God especially through prayer, almsgiving and fasting.”
Pope Francis is doing nothing more than reiterating what is, quite frankly, the teachings of the Catholic Church post Vatican II. And all of the above also applies to the Jews as well, so they’re not left out either.
Take that for what that’s worth; I have no dog in this particular hunt.
There is no "mutual".
He did NOT celebrate Ramadan. He spoke to Muslims as they wrapped up their celebration of Ramadan. Is this your headline, or the actual headline? The URL you gave showed a different one.
Ain’t gonna happen.
